HD Retrovision cables in stock

Post by JBC »

This thread will be irrelevant & outdated in a day or two I'm sure, but I thought it might be useful for some to mention that HD Retrovision must have had some hefty stock this time. The cables have been on sale since early Saturday morning here & are still available so if you were thinking about nabbing a few now's a good time. They also have PSX, Neo Geo, & Saturn adapters. They usually sell out pretty quick so get steppin'

My SNES cable doesn't work anymore. I don't know if I can be bothered to send it back. It used to show all red like a virtual boy, but if you hit the right spot it would come full color again. Now its as if one of the cables isn't inserted at all. Went back to using my XRGB2. The genesis one works fine.

That's too bad. Curious why it wouldn't be worth it to you to get replaced?

Well, Its a hassle to send something back to the States and I had to pay £12 for import duties on this cable when I first got it. If they sent a replacement free of charge I'd take that as long as they marked it as free £0 on the packaging. If I can be bothered I'll email them, but its not a good advert for their product tbh.

I've emailed them. Lets see what happens.

Nobody responded yet. I guess I'm not important enough a customer.

No worries though, I'll stick to good old fashioned UK built RGB cables from now on.

If you want I can try to dig up Ste's (one of the two founders) email from an old correspondence. He seemed like a gamer's gamer and I would think would get back to you if your email is just stuck in a customer-service queue.

PM me.
