The first party game ever, as well as the first game with split screen multiplayer, was probably Starpath's Party Mix for the Atari 2600 + their Supercharger add-on.

American actor Dick Van Dyke is also a 3D animation artist. When the budget for an episode of Diagnosis: Murder didn't allow for a scene of a spectacular motorcycle crash, he used his home computer to create that scene all by himself.

Oh, and his real name is not Penis Van Lesbian.

Linton-Stockton High School is located in Linton, Indiana in Greene County. It is home to about 450 students, and is quite small. The mascot for this school is the Miner, and the school colors are red and blue.

The word "tycoon" comes from the archaic Japanese "taikun" (大君), "great lord".

That's not from archaic Japanese, that's from the Middle Chinese dajHkjun. The Japanese borrowed the pronunciation from the Chinese. The Old Japanese (8th Century) reading of those characters was actually opo kimi. Old Korean also had that character compound, but they used the Chinese pronunciation back then.

From wikipedia:

Macaws eat nuts and fruit. They also gnaw and chew on various objects. They show a large amount of intelligence in their behaviour and require constant intellectual stimulation to satisfy their innate curiosity.

All species of macaws have very powerful, large beaks and are capable of causing considerable harm to both children and adults. They tend to be extremely loud: in the wild their voices need to carry over long distances. This makes macaws very demanding birds to keep as a household pet. Additional complications arise from the intelligence levels of macaws and their negative responses to stimuli people generally use on domestic pets.

Macaws are known to eat clay, which is believed to work as an antidote to the poisonous seeds they eat. The chemicals in the clay mix with the poison allowing it to pass through the bird's digestive system without harming the bird.

It is believed the English word "mare", Old Chinese "mra" (modern Chinese "ma"), Korean "mal", and Japanese "uma" (Classical Japanese "muma"), which all have a meaning of "horse", all come from a wanderwort. A wanderwort means it's a word which has travelled a great distance around the world, adopted into various unrelated languages, with no known origin.

Stormwatch wrote:The rarest videogame ever (actually released, not a beta/prototype) is possibly Nintendo World Championship 1990 for the NES. It was a collection of Super Mario Bros, Rad Racer II, and Tetris, in modified versions, done for a Nintendo-sponsored tournament.

116 cartridges were manufactured: 30 in golden plastic, given to the winners; and the others in regular gray, given to the remaining contestants.

Reportedly, a golden cartridge was sold for U$ 6500.
this is wrong to my knolege the rarest i know of is the EU megadrive version of tetris which was made and produced and then shiped only for them to have it recalled because the SNES got the licence in the 11th hour. It is thought to have a few as one or two units but no more than ten!

Nihilism (from the Latin nihil, nothing) is a philosophical position which argues that the world, especially past and current human existence, is without objective meaning, purpose, comprehensible truth, or essential value. Nihilists generally assert some or all of the following:

* there is no reasonable proof of the existence of a higher ruler or creator,
* a "true morality" does not exist, and
* secular ethics are impossible;

therefore, life has no truth, and no action can be preferable to any other.
