Yeah, I heard about it from this thread:

I prefer the look of the PS2 Virtua Stick over the original Saturn one. IIRC The Saturn one was white and grey and had multiple button colors. It clashed with the (black) Saturns so bad.

Yea, they are pretty expensive...I guess if you HAD to have a licensed product.
They're only expensive because they're imported. Maybe someone can pick some up overseas?

This hopefully will put an end to the endless debate "about xxx, choose the SS version 'cause the pad is so much better".

Seriously, this is good news by all means. But weren't the Street Fighter pads already a lot similar to the SS one?

You're right. I actually broke a SF control pad's D-Pad (couldn't press down) in a marathon sesson of Samurai Spirits Zero. Also the "Select" and "Start" buttons were laid out in a bad position, which sucked because I would find myself pausing the game in the heat of battle, LOL! If the build quality of these PS2 Saturn pads are the same as the Saturns, I'm definitely buying 2.

I pre-ordered one, but I won't hold my breath for the same quality as the Saturn pad. How funny; Sega obviously knows the greatness of their Saturn pad, yet they chose that DC design for the DC.
