Considering that, last I checked, polls say that somewhere between 60 and 70 percent of Republicans (say they) believe the election was stolen and between 40 and 50 percent approve of the Capitol riot (moreover, considering where polling and reality met these past few elections, it's almost certain that the actual numbers are significantly higher), it seems that a lot of people have been talking straight out of their asses for a very long time. And are now demanding for the millionth time that everyone else reach out across the aisle to ensure that their deeply held concerns are heard.

Off to the side, to anyone wondering if impeaching Trump after he leaves office would be a waste of time: feel free to ignore the ramifications of letting him off scot free after everything that's happened if you must (though I have a lot of questions for you if you do take that route), and just focus your attention on the Former Presidents Act. Even if you somehow don't think there should be any consequences for what's occurred, kick it up a notch and ask yourself if you want to outright reward it. (EDIT: A bit of further reading suggests that as currently written the benefits might only be revoked if impeachment actually removes a President from office, so it seems we'll have to wait and see what happens with this one.)

Yes that guy, he's deluded but I don't find him particularly threatening, he literally believes in magic. If you want to know who I do find most worrying in the video it's the guys at the end around the camera equipment, those are the ones to be wary of, it's the combined words and mannerisms. It's a good video IMO in that it captures a variety of the people there including the truly harmless, the mostly harmless, the ones with an actual agenda and the harmful. It captures a mix of people literally storming the entrance and people kind of being let in to wander.
