I hope you keep this in mind, especially now more than ever that the Republicans are basically staging a coup against him, as you watch the events of the next few months unfold. Trump is trying to keep the party under his thumb as best he can, but there's going to be some obstructions once he gets in office, to say the least. Already we have John McCain and his ilk supporting, among other things, military action against Russia.

Speaking of which, have you read the report on that? It's as if you shouldn't take the CIA, the agency whose job it is to lie, at face value.

I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens after Trump is sworn in. That is, unless the left-wing neo-con lunatics manage to actually start a war with Russia before that. Obama is certainly trying his best to act like the incarnation of what Hillary would have been, showing us the true his colors at last, after hiding behind his charming smiles for eight years. Sours grapes are an horrible sight to behold.

The biggest problem for Trump right now is how to control the sell out right and weed out all the neo-con bastards, more than how to deal with the left, which has discredited itself beyond repair at this point.

I don't think a coup would be necessary. Trump has already given them cause to impeach on a silver platter with him mixing foreign affairs with family business. If push comes to shove they can tell Trump, "another veto outta you, in the fuckin oven you're gonna go, head first!"

Besides, he's already filled his cabinet with the Goldman Sachs people he was skewering his opponents for being beholden to in the primary, I imagine it won't take much pressure from republicans to turn him into the ultimate establishment insider president.

Just so long as they let him use the office to make little deals to pay off his massive debt. And since Paul Ryan went to a lobbying firm within hours of passing these changes blatantly saying in the open, "Hey boss, I did a good thing, right?" I sincerely doubt they'll have a problem with a couple indiscretions on Trump's part.

There are a million billion effective ways to attack Trump.

There's a difference between fucktarded republican-esque partisan whiny baby nonsense, and actual policy substance that affects people's material lives.

Also it helps if you don't advertise yourself as a republican when you're running as a democrat. Also it helps if you think human beings are capable of sapient thought, instead of thinking you can win by hiring soulless Pepsi commercial marketing people who treat the masses contemptuously, like a bunch of chimpanzees.

Does anyone know a single GOOD Hillary Clinton tv ad? Can anyone point out a really BAD Sanders tv ad?

Here's some food for thought: the leftist boogeymen Koch brothers have donated more to the United Negro College Fund than they have to the president elect (to whom they have donated all of nothing).

Are you all still denying the very real rift in the Republican party? Because if so, you're going to be in for a rude awakening come 2020.

As I said a little ways back, they still refuse to own up to not only Iraq, but Reagan's disastrous legacy, Watergate, or the Depression; there's no way in hell the Trump era - or ANY era, no matter how inexcusably awful - will do anything the aforementioned couldn't.

Yeah, the Koch brothers aren't the ones holding Trump's leash. It's the Mercer family. However, the Kochs definitely control the freedom caucus.

Please don't tell me you unironically believe the Russian government was responsible for Trump's victory.

And even if it were the case, how did they get ahold of all this damaging information? Think carefully about how you answer this.

Putin hacked into the Podesta emails (the hack in question was figuring out that his password was... password) and told the truth about the corruption going in the DNC. He basically steered the election in favor of Trump by doing genuine investigative work which resulted in better informed voters.

As it turns out, the Buzzfeed leaks weren't merely 4Chan fanfiction, although the 'golden shower' wasn't directed at Obama's bed, but at CNN instead. I'm glad this marks the end of the 'fake news' meme, I was already getting sick of that being forced down everyone's throats everywhere.

The report from the government is that the russians have compromising material on trump. It was never put forth as to what that "compromising material" was. The "golden showers" bit was made up by a third party, and sadly spread as gossip fodder. So your link documents the gullibility of a reporter, but doesn't call into question what was originally stated by the government. Try again.

You can't prove that. And i can't prove that they do. But seeing as he still hasn't released his income taxes, kisses up to russia every chance he gets, has declared bankruptcy multiple times, has had multiple people come forward with lurid stories about him, had to pay $25 million to make the trump university lawsuit go away, refuses to divest his business interests while president, and generally acts like an uneducated jackass, i'm going to err on the side that they do have something on him. Whether it's something lurid, or of a financial/business nature is anyones guess.

On the bright side David "fucking" Brock just made a public apology to Sanders!

It's looking more and more like Bernie is taking over the Democratic party.

Let's hope they're not stupid enough not to shoot down Keith Ellison, though I'm not holding my breath on that.

Oh great, now even The Netherlands is implicated in this Russian hacking business. Apparently one of the largest Dutch hostingproviders, called Webzilla, was bought in 2011 by a Russian named Gubarev and the company he ran called XBT, after which Webzilla experienced tremendous growth. Gubarev was supposedly recruited by the Russian intelligence agency FSB to assist in carrying out the hack, but his role is not made clear. There is no evidence or anything to verify this at all, but de Volkskrant decided to publish a story about it anyways after they got a hold of the story from a WSJ journalist whose sources on the matter could not be verified.

Honestly, the intelligence community could as well be trying to warn us about aliens without providing any conclusive evidence, only for it to catch on because people WANT to believe it (something which just so happens to coincide with 20th Century Boys which I'm reading right now).

I will admit to enjoying the bit where he put down the BBC "journalist". They've been pushing the allegations all day, post-conference they doubled down on it. Teresa May snubbed the BBC for the annual PM news interview and gave it to Sky instead this year.

I see that the past month or two has done nothing to dilute your seemingly endless supply of "if you support funding NASA you must believe in UFOs, right?" Kellyanne Conway bullshit. Imagining, as one always must, that you were actually attempting to argue in good faith instead of just being a bitch, you'd acknowledge - there's no way you're not keenly aware - that the intelligence report openly stated that it didn't even attempt to determine whether Russia's meddling actually tilted the election in Trump's favor, only that it happened and that this was, in fact, its intention. And yeah, that's news in and of itself, no matter how reliably flunkies like you can be expected to accuse anyone treating it as such of "bias" against your chosen champion. Y'know, as he sits in obedient silence as his establishment enablers abjectly refuse to even attempt to make him keep his promises concerning Social Security and Medicare.

As for where the purported dirt came from, does the report extrapolate on that? The "continuing exchange of information" between Team Trump and Team Putin sticks out (for more reasons than one, not like you care, of course), but feel free to point me towards a more official accounting of how it happened if I missed it.

By the way, please tell me everyone saw Trump's response to the reporter who dared to bring up his tax returns again (I'm still waiting to hear what those investigators in Hawaii found, myself ); it's his version of Romney's "it's not my job to worry about those people" canard, and we didn't even need a hidden camera to hear it!

I'll bet both you and your candidate of choice would have the exact same view of him and his actions if he'd stolen and released Trump's tax returns instead. As for the vital importance of the emails, heavens to Betsy, next you'll be telling me that the RNC internally preferred Jeb Bush to Carly Fiorina or something; get Putin back in here, the people must know!

Whatever.

All the evidence, the little that we have, points to an actual internal leak. I.E., nobody hacked anything. This was corroborated by Wikileaks as well. And the question here isn't even who did it but why, one of the obvious answers being someone disgruntled by all the corruption going on in the DNC.

Which brings me to what you people still don't seem to get. You are the bad guys, not Trump. He didn't win because he was such a great candidate. He won because you painted yourselves as the absolute worst alternative on almost every level. But you just... wont... get it.
