Anyone heard of the Dark End virus?

About a week ago my computer went down by this nasty virus. As far as I know, all my files are intact. It's just that I cannot start up windows even in safe mode.

well if you flat out can't boot windows then my suggestion would be to download http://www.knoppix.org/ (or a variant) boot with that, save whatever files you're sure are safe (burn them to a cd, send them to some one via GAIM, something) then format the drive and reinstall windows
