At least your cats have the decency to look like serial killers. They're honest.
Some time ago I found a dead mouse hanging upside down with one leg tangled in a fishing line still attached to a rod, his dried up intestines where hanging out of his stomach, the whole thing reminded me of the Hannibal Lecter escape scene from Silence of the lambs with the dead guard hanging from the ceiling.

Here's one of my two cats:
Image

Mod Edit: Huge image.

Her name is Ariel: Her hobbies include destroying plants/furniture, eating my hair, and begging for attention at inopportune times.
Here she is learning to play Battle Garegga in co-op mode with me (I was using the Sanwa stick, so she was stuck with the generic part Hori stick).

She seems to have understood that she needs to suicide to keep rank low, but she doesn't seem to understand appropriate timing: she'll just suicide all her lives away as soon as the game starts without firing so much as a single shot.

The iMovie-obsessed humane society still hasn't taken down the youtube video that made me decide to adopt my current dog:

http://youtu.be/za6-UCf2KN0
Two working class dudes, one black one white, just baked a tray of ten cookies together.

An oligarch walks in and grabs nine cookies for himself.

Then he says to the white dude "Watch out for that black dude, he wants a piece of your cookie!"

My old pal Milano died this morning at the age of a hundred and six, and I'm ashamed I was on the other side of the Atlantic. ;-;7 It was my folks he loved most though, so I'm glad they were there. Adios fella.

Image

Pretty good innings I guess. A long and I'd like to think happy life for a damaged stray. Final resting place of Milano (uh, a bit to the left by the tree). Many fond memories of sitting out by the water at night with him.

Sorry if this isn't the place, this topic got bumped recently and I'd forgotten I'd posted about him in it! I'm gonna have a couple beers on his behalf.

Sorry to hear about that BIL. Similar thing happened with my surly little cat I left with my parents not long after I came to Japan. Sounds like he had a good long run though. I'm sure they both went without regrets.

Sad news indeed BIL. When my house rabbit left this world it was an evening I was away for 24 hours. Still feel bad for letting him slip away (it was sudden and unexpected) solo. Ironically he was named 'Banzai', as 'may you live long'. He was too young.

But it sounds as though Milano was surrounded by the others close to his heart, at least.

I did get this done when Banzai left us. He was pretty rock and roll and badly behaved, so I imagine he might have been tattooed if he were human. Seemed fitting. It's on my inner wrist. RIP Banzai! Gone 10 years, not forgotten! My friends even still talk fondly about him.

I was inspired by being at a friend's tattoo shop when a huge biker-type came in to get 'Timmy' tattooed on his arm for a pet cat he'd lost. I don't need a tattoo to remind me of what great fun Banzai was, but it's nice to see a reminder so often.

I actually used to have a cat named Luna, years ago...short for "lunatic" since she was a real head case, heh.

Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever posted our current pair o' cats:

Image

Their "official" names from the shelter are Kip and Kato, though I've only ever known them as Fur and Fuzz. Supposedly they're brothers, though I'm not sure how the heck that happened, as even after all this time I still never would have assumed it in a million years. :P

Back when I used to be able to take her for a walk around the neighborhood - now too scared to venture beyond the block and just runs around yard at sled dog speed.
