Mort Drucker, legendary MAD Magazine artist, died three days ago at age 91. According to people close to him, it doesn't appear to have been from Covid-19, at least.

Mathematician John Conway, among other things inventor of the eponymous Conway's Game of Life, passed away on Saturday from COVID-19, too.

I see he voiced Esidesi in JoJo Part 2, among many other roles. Hell of a performance as the arc's most eccentric villain, in a series that's had consistently memorable VA.

Holy fuck, how'd I never notice he was in both First Blood and Tommy Boy. I mean probably because I've only seen bits and pieces of Tommy Boy while channel surfing, but still.

I’ve seen Tommy Boy. It’s fine, but my personal favorite from the late Chris Farley has gotta be Beverly Hills Ninja. And yes, he was Sheriff Will Teasle, the main antagonist of First Blood.

Rough way to go, poor bugger. Didn't really know of his work, but I'm sure any voice actor involved in PS1-era Resident Evil has a place in gamers' hearts.

Now, and the tubby motherfucker better not make me regret this scoop,

Yes, I found out just after it was announced and have been playing Kraftwerk the last few days. I managed to see them only once but it was very good.

Florian Schneider and Little Richards... damn, music got hit hard this week.

Beginning of cold industrial electronica and beggining of aggressive rock. Influence so far reaching the both of them.

Chris Kelly died in 2013, didn't he? I remember vividly, cause I went to watch Spoony's Make My Video review for ol' times' sake, and the fucker had been deleted. RIP anyway, poor guy didn't even make 35. Stay off the drugs, kids! Inevitable 90s kid nostalgia for those guys, and shitty FMV non-games. Yo, those were my generation's Depression Quest and Revolution 60!

Good to see Chris Smith seems to be doing alright.

EDIT: oh nice, Spoony's review is back up! Too bad he ain't!

EDIT 2: oh what the fuck, French subtitles?!

She did a reality show, called Terrace House, and apparently one of the shows other guests was a guy who accidentally washed and ruined her ring gear. It was said she bullied the guy, but that part could've been scripted for the show. So the guy left the house in shame and never returned, and fans saw this and started hounding her with death threats for months. Eventually she started liking tweets saying that she should die, and she obliged the trolls after her. She apparently slit her wrists. The episode where she "bullied" the guy should have never seen airwaves, the airing just caused her grief, to the point she killed herself. Yes, I do try to watch Stardom, the wrestling company she worked for, I like other wrestlers from there besides herself (Tama Nakano is my favorite from there). Such a sad ending fate for Hana, and people are still bullying her after death, including one Japanese Youtuber who makes fun of celebrities after they die, he said it was good that she was dead, and was celebrating it by drinking and toasting her death.

It goes to show what twisted world we live in.

This is that Youtuber I speak of:
