Ouch, this one really stung...
Mark Hollis of Talk Talk fame, at the surprising young age of 64. Cause of death still unknown.

And if you don't know who he is, or what Talk Talk is, or its influence of popular music throughout the 90s and on - boy do I have a world to show you.

Such a Shame.

Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock are incredible albums.. Pretty sad but he had been retired for decades. I think he had a piece of music on the Boss OST, not sure if it was new or not.

Keith Flint, singer in The Prodigy, was found dead today at 49 years of age.
My 1CCs so I can find the list easier myself
<Despatche> you've been a thorn in the shmups community since the beginning, you're largely responsible for the horrible face of modern speedrunning

Incredibly young age. That kind of stuff really scares me.
Seeing Prodigy live (three times in my case) has been a really awesome experience every single time. Even if Keith wasn't too central to the music production itself, his energy on stage really did a lot for it.

EDIT: Apparently it was suicide. :O

I actually just watched some Lone Wolf & Cub movies last week. Mad Bull and Crying Freeman as well, iirc.

Truly he was an absolute legend, whose reach will still be felt.

John Singleton's death is increasing more pressure for me on June 14th... I really want to see Men in Black: International, but seeing as he directed the 2000 sequel of Shaft, what if I want to see the 2019 version of Shaft instead to honor him? Both MIB and Shaft are being released on the same day...

Back in 2018, I saw Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse solely to honor the late Stan Lee. I don't know if I should do the same with John Singleton here with Shaft...

Tim Conway and Doris Day died recently. RIP. Tim Conway was hilarious. I enjoyed seeing him on McHale's Navy, The Carol Burnett Show, and The New Scooby Doo Movies. I haven't seen many Doris Day movies, but I liked her in The Man Who Knew Too Much. Tim Conway was 85 and Doris Day was 97.

Great, I think Billy Drago kicked it too. I knew him as Frank Nitti from The Untouchables as well as Ramon Cota from Delta Force 2: The Colombian Connection.

Billy Drago was great in everything. Shame he never wrote a book as these types of character actors are way more interesting than the usual "star".. Unfortunate that Tarantino never used him as he could've done with a few more quality roles.

João Gilberto, father of bossa nova, died at 88. One of my favourites artists for sure. :(
Here's a video of him singing the famous Ipanema song with Tom Jobim:

Ross Perot just died.

He was mocked viciously for this at the time, but damn did his giant sucking sound speech prove to be prescient.
Two working class dudes, one black one white, just baked a tray of ten cookies together.

An oligarch walks in and grabs nine cookies for himself.

Then he says to the white dude "Watch out for that black dude, he wants a piece of your cookie!"

He was brilliant as Artie in Larry Sanders and was also in The Man Who Fell to Earth.
R.I.P. Rip.
