And yeah Babylon 5 was great I didn't get into it until well after it aired but rather enjoyed it.

Mary Wilson of The Supremes passed away.

Also, S. Clay Wilson, who was an underground comics pioneer. He is widely regarded as the raunchiest comic artist of the 70's.

Porn maven and free speech warrior Larry Flynt.
Two working class dudes, one black one white, just baked a tray of ten cookies together.

An oligarch walks in and grabs nine cookies for himself.

Then he says to the white dude "Watch out for that black dude, he wants a piece of your cookie!"

Dang. Had a watch of The People Vs Larry Flint the other week. After, I turned to the gal and said "Dang. If even half of this movie is true! What a guy!" As to the implied question to the audience:
Yes, I'll have (fake) tatas and ass depicted over real mutilation and genocide. Any day. Thanks, Larry.

I was trying to find a photo of Rush as Ronald McDonald (playing the clown was one of his early gigs), but it seems that the internet has been somewhat sanitized of those photos. I know I did a search for that some years ago and found many pictures of him in makeup.

Prince Markie Dee of the Fat Boys passed.

He's the lighter skinned one on the right with cheese burger. This album came out when I was in grade school and cemented my love of hip hop for years to come. It's both hilarious and brilliant as a satire of contemporary hip hop and pop culture.

Lawrence Ferlinghetti passed at 101 years old.

This was the poet who, in high school, opened my eyes to writing as an art. A Coney Island of the Mind, forever changed the way I understood both the world and what could be done with the English language.

Very late (he died in 2020), but better late than never - Clark Middleton, 63 years old, West Nile virus. Fuck mosquitos, dirty bastards.

While I only knew him from Twin Peaks s3, a little of that crazy shit - Major Spoilers - goes a long way. Image Good show sir.

Yeah that was nuts... his death and his role. I wonder if he's with Billy?

On a similar note, I have not watched Wandavision and doubt I will, but apparently all the fans are massively butt hurt as the season finale was far more of a whimper than a bang, and all the Twin Peaks nerds like, "amateurs".

Indeed, Twin Peaks S2 will immunise you against anything, nothing can hurt you after that.

And so many before it was released! Only way it could have been better is if David Bowie was somehow able to film his scenes before he succumbed to cancer. The Catherine Coulson farewell... chokes me up every time.

All the comparisons between that series and Twin Peaks seems like some kind of elaborate troll job. The two couldn't be further from eachother, and it really begins and ends with meta references to other TV shows.
