First off, it's nice that we get a free copy of Black Tiger. This arcade hub has a lot of potential but I've been worried ever since the logo was unveiled. The fact that only art from CPS1 and earlier games are shown is troubling. Some folks may be happy with that selection but having already purchased the Capcom games I really want, the only major appeal here is if an accurate CPS2 port of Super Street Fighter II Turbo can be released.

I don't believe Capcom has ever called upon M2—the gold standard in classic games—to work on its ports/emulation. Based on historical performance, there's an astronomical risk of glitches, input lag, and substandard visual quality. But I'll likely support the game anyway either way.

Day-one purchase. Sure, I already have the Black Tiger PCB, but playing this on my 360 will be fun anyway. Protip: Get the Japanese XBLA release as Black Dragon gives you a one million point bonus when you clear it.

Seconded. Alien vs. Predator and Shadow Over Mystara would also be nice seeing as how we're dreaming.

Yeah, to be fair Final Fight looks beautiful even on a HD TV, they took a lot of care with that port. Don't expect the same amount of effort here though.

Cool that someone up there did. But yeah, big game companies seem to be the dumb blonds of this industry.

I'd like to see Capcom get some previously unported titles in this one. I'd give them $15 for Warzard- there's one that's due some respect. I'd take Hyper SFII over Super Turbo, considering that Hyper has everything in ST but allows you to select other versions of your character.

Could they do Giga Wing 1&2 and Mars Matrix? I'm curious who has rights to these with Takumi being gone.
It sucks that War of the Grail got canned. That one looked like it had potential.
Kinect? KIN NOT.

I want The Punisher! There are way too many awesome licensed Capcom games. It would be rad if they ported the Takumi shmups also. How about that one beat 'em up with the weird plant character? Anyone remember that game? I forgot the title.

Battle Circuit I think?

There's a load of stuff I'd like to see, but I'm guessing (especially with talk of games being sold in packs) that what we're getting is nothing more than another release of Generations/Classic Collection with a snazzy front end. That I'll no doubt buy for the simple convenience of having then on 360.

I don't know if any of you guys read the article in that link, there it was stated that they will concentrate on 80's games. This means you won't be seeing street fighter, punisher, battle circuit or alien vs. predator.

Which for me is fine, since I felt they were at their most creative period during 1986-1990, with titles such as ghost'n'goblins, forgotten worlds, strider, section Z, final fight, black tiger and ghouls'n'ghosts.

There were many great titles in the 90's of course (though progear was a joint venture with Cave), but aside from street fighter (and it's endless sequels and iterations), and few great snes titles I got the feeling that they mostly recycled the system first created in final fight, as many of their walk-and-punch titles seemed to have very similar gameplay. Therefore I am not quite as fond of the licensed capcom titles of 90's, though I do like their D&D titles quite a lot, and I also loved X-men vs Street fighter.

Also you should keep in mind that there is 99.99% chance that you will NOT see any of the licensed titles as those licenses have more than likely expired by now. Which is again fine by me, but probably disappointing to many who grew up with them in the 90's.

I think best way to play AD&D tower of doom and shadow over mystara is to buy the saturn versions, which I will do, once I have enough time and money to invest on those. It was one of the few coin ops I actually bothered to play in the 90's, along with Raiden DX, Blazing Star, Metal Slug and Viper Phase 1. This list may look long but 80's felt far more exciting to my generation.

http://www.capcom-unity.com/xantista/bl ... -is-coming

from the silhouette teaser in this article you can clearly see at least 2 airplane-shaped objects - this probably means something from the 1942 series but I'm keeping my hopes up for some Progear

my other guesses: Commando, Gun.Smoke, Legendary Wings, Cyberbots?

And on Capcom's Sidearms PCB circa 1986, you get a bonus million points for clearing it as well -- this applies to both the original JPN & World versions of SA PCBs indeed. There are some slight differences in comparing an original JPN region SA to a World variant SA but they're significant. I've never seen (nor played) such a JPN region SA PCB at the USA-based arcades back in the late '80s and into the early '90s, it was always a USA region Romstar variant SA PCB that was commonplace at such an arcade joint back in the day.

is M2 doing this? Their Neo-Geo and Sega titles use the same silhouette model - They fill in as you buy each title.

Nothing to see here
Bonus games obviously Vulgus and 1943 Kai.
Nothing new. Most of these games have been ported and are included in the ps2 collection.
Perhaps the video is better

Would be nice, but unlikley I think. Wouldn't a release depend on Capcom getting the AvP and D&D Licences if they don't still hold them?

I believe that's what "dreaming" means (along with Progear).

Yay for confirmed tate at least! I've always thought the key to selling people old arcade games is giving them at least as many options as what they can get on an emulator, plus something extra.

I got a friend who really likes Ghosts and Goblins, so I imagine he'll be quite happy with this.

Did Legendary Wings ever get a port before now?

It was on the Capcom Classics Collection on PS2/Xbox and the Remixed collection on PSP.

Oh cool. I don't think I ever saw that one hit local retailers but then again I wasn't looking for Capcom-specific stuff. Will definitely take a look around.

Don't want scanlines. Want a 21st century re-write of the whole fucking lot. Emulation has been done. Time to get these games up to spec with modern day consoles.

These games should look as good as Rayman on the Wii u, at least. Otherwise why do them?

So we have to wait until may for 30 year old games
wait, ....

So many Capcom games come to mind that should be ported instead.
Why is every gaming company always releasing like 10 of their 100 games and re-releasing those 10 games 20 times.
And totaly disregarding the other 90 games they made.
And those 10 games they keep re-releasing are not even their best games.
This goes for Sega, Capcom, Data East, Namco.
