Of course this is a japanese game where you complete minigames, in order to have female police officers to somehow undress, or make nice things for you.

Once again, this standard version in single CD case is way rarer than the limited version of the game (cardboard, double CD case, figurine). Took me more than 2 years of checking ebay and YAJ daily to get this one.
I missed one on YAJ in 2020, was surprised to see it go for more than $450 (with spine and reg card). This one popped out on ebay march 2021 and went underradar, got it in the $30 range (no spine card though).

Congrats! That's a real Saturn rarity. :D

There are many examples on Saturn where the "Special Edition" is much more common than the regular edition.
I know you own Gundam Gaiden 3. Do you have Yuukyuu Gensoukyoku, Need for Speet GT-R, and X-Men Vs. Street Fighter as regular editions?

I love reading those words, seeking JP SS regular edition is my daily routine since about 2 years.
I proudly own all those ones you listed (though I did not count Xmen Vs Street in the rare category), and some more. My current rare list is below, based on a rarity rating 8 or more from the Satakore.com website.

The only one I'm missing on this list is Ruriiro no Yuki T-19716G. I excluded on purpose Denpa Shounenteki Game 2, and Scorcher from the list, not even sure they belong to the same plane of existence as most of us.
I also happen to own extra copies of Kuro no Danshou, Choro Q Park Satakore, and Need for Speed GTR, in case you might be interested ?

I got sick of waiting months to get my paws on an RTX 3070 card only for them all to get gobbled up by scalpers and cryptominers, so I decided instead to spend the money I had set aside for a new GPU on a fancy monitor to replace my old workhorse Dell instead.

The ViewSonic XG270 Elite

Holy shit, this is so much better than a card that lets me run "Control" with Ray-Tracing on at a playable FPS!

240fps 1080p display with a high color IPS panel and the only monitor with official BlurBusters approval!

I was very confused when researching this monitor whether it was true G-Sync, or just G-Sync compatible, as it does support Freesync. But the box and the sticker on the monitor all say G-Sync, and the Nvidia control panel seems to agree, and I can G-sync games running in a window, so I guess it's the real deal.

I haven't seen performance on a monitor like this since wandering through computer store showrooms back in the CRT days. I'm entranced like a cat just watching the mouse cursor move across the desktop. And so many of my older games look so much better since they can push out the full 240 frames. Galak-Z in particular is a revelation. Plus this is my first adaptive sync monitor so when the Galak-Z fighter zooms out of its hangar bay with zero screen tearing... *chef's kiss*

It's not AS GOOD as a CRT, but after two decades of 60fps flatscreens it's close enough for me!

It also... does something else... (WARNING! Pornographic image in the spoiler tag!)

Very interesting list, thanks! X-men Vs. SF recently sold for ¥20k, so I thought maybe it's one of the rare ones. But I guess you do see it sell from time to time, whereas most of those in your list I've never seen. :)

PM'd you about Need for Speed GT-R. ;)

A fully-loaded Wii U. 50+ WiiU games installed, 100+ Wii games, and a HUGE RetroArch build. Although, I was getting annoyed at it defaulting the Pro Pad to player 2, started tinkering in the control menus, and I've now managed to save a profile that doesn't recognise ANY controller in the main menu

I think I've sorted it by editing the config file manually......

I just received my ketsui repro PCB. I had barely played it since 2014. I have to say that it doesn't feel 'cheap' and unfair play wise. I shall be putting some time into this.

I just picked up one of these Joey Jr. things from Bennvenn in Australia. It's pretty awesome. You can play carts directly from it on a PC or a RPi4 or whatever using an emulator.

I basically got it cause I decided to replay all the Castlevania games from the beginning, but I forgot I still had this cart that I borrowed from my friend. I promise I'll mail it back whenever you want me to if you're reading this!!!

The other day my cousin turned 17 so I bought him this. He is an avid WoW gamer so I decided not to give any simple traditional things but focus on something up-to-date and it was the item from the universe of WoW :)

I had to Google to that figure out what the hell it is. But it sounds cool. How much software actually takes advantage of it?

Not much. It's mostly for VGMPlay. V9990 version of Ghosts'n Goblins supports it too, but that game will run fine on a normal ym2610. The Taito chip is the main attraction here.

Sound cartridge for MSX computers. With VGMPlay I can use it to play game music on original chips.

Been buying up tons of PS3 games. Mostly locally but also some over the phone orders at local chain locations that are too far to drive to. Seems like people are panicking over the PSN store closure online and the prices of many physical games are skyrocketing. Been adding to my collection and making money with the extras of games I already have.

So now PS3 games are going sky high too?

Glad I already bought up all my PS3 games early on

I can't believe some of the prices for some of these bargian bin games are going for like PSN Collection Vol. 1!!

For now at least yeah. I sold Sly Cooper Thieves in Time for $43, that was very recently $15 all day. Some games have jumped even more than that too.

The games going up in price are insane. about 80% of my collection are still sealed... only because I can't play them all because of well... adult life.

3D Dot Games being one of the many.
Been wanting to crack open that game and play it for a while but life keeps getting in the way.

I predict Puppeteer will be another one soon.

I finally got a set of high quality calibration cassettes. One of my hobbies is repairing random stuff like cassette decks and boomboxes and TV and crap like that.

This set will allow me to do a better job of setting speed and azimuth:

speaking of that Vol. 2, I just ordered a splicing kit since one of my Mercyful Fate tape has snapped off. it's got sentimental value so I wanna repair it. gonna be a zen time to just set up for this, chill and slowly repair the tape.

Ordered one of those slick Remute produced Electronic Lifestyle music Hu-Card (the PC Engine variant version indeed) from Stone Age Gamer. This particular first ever music Hu-Card truly showcases what a talented electronica music artist can do with the cult favorite PC Engine hardware. Am not sure what the actual megabit size of the Remute EL Hu-Card is though. Quite impressive with the digitized voice synthesis FX used in a couple of musical tracks. Hopefully it won't the first & last music Hu-Card release.

Will have try it out on a doujindance 2021 modded white colored PC Engine console with upgraded audio amp setup & listen to how it sounds.

Filling up the NES/Famicom collection with some neat homebrews. Trophy is an action-platformer heavily inspired by Mega Man, though you don't acquire weapons from defeated bosses. What is similar is the premise, the art style, the stage design, and even the music. There are hidden power-ups in most (all?) stages, some of which make your attacks stronger and some of which just extend your life bar, and you keep these even after dying and they're also stored in the password, so there's some reason to explore the stages a bit. Apparently the game was a Kickstarter project but it's also available for regular purchasing now.

The game's a bit on the easy side, I finished it just now (with using passwords, admittedly) and there were few bosses or stages I had to try more than twice, most of them I beat on the first go. The game boasts of having "largest bosses ever seen on the NES!" and some of them are admittedly big, sure, but they're kind of duds in the fun department (and some look kind of derpy). Almost all of them have only one attack pattern that they keep repeating, and way too many of them lower themselves down from the top of the screen, stick around for you to attack them a few times, and then go back up. And because you can't shoot up, there's only a short window in which to attack them, making these battles feel like a drag.

Technically the game is great, everything looks and sounds good, the main character has a very nice walking animation, but the bosses do bring the fun factor down two notches. Which is a shame, considering the bosses are kind of a selling point. Had they been more interesting to fight this would've been one of the best NES homebrews out there. It's still pretty decent, though.

The ROM can also be purchased for a tenner at itch.io if paying silly prices for physical copies of new games for decades old hardware isn't appealing.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.
