Behind the Scenes of: JoshF's Edit

Dell Photo Editor:
- Enlarge both pictures 2x in Dell Photo Editor. Print Screen.

MS Paint:
- Remove Background
- Remove arm. Could have comedic potential.
- Place one image over the other. Rotate arm.
- Put over original 2x "base" image. Crop.

Windows Picture and Fax Viewer:
- Resize to appear anti-aliased

Dell Photo Editor:
- Adjust sharpness slightly to appear smoother

By the time I finished 27 sexually-themed edits were already posted. Brought to you by Adobe Photoshop.

And more moneyshot screens pls. Metro guy is asking for it and needs to receive it (it, I mean.)

A video of that would be way cooler than a video rebuttal.

That chick looks like Emo Tony's kid sister.

The worst part of those people is that there job is to tell people stuff. Because you know there's people out there even dumber than they are that believe what they say and consider them some sort of authority on whatever subject they're on TV to talk about.

They're the reason the USA is soft on terror.

Oh crap. So I really hate myself and I wanted to watch this video. It seems that they've taken this video down? What was the title of the video? Is it on Youtube?

It was called "the death of the arcade", and yeah it looks like it was completely removed. Couldn't find it via google either. Perhaps they saw this thread and got upset?

This is awesome since you don't have to see their faces.

Quote:
Girl: When we talk about arcade games you have such awesome
memories of like either going with your friends or just like that’s what kept
your attention for hours and hours and hours when you were a kid.

Huh? (did she live in an arcade?)

Quote:
Guy2: The video game industry in that period form the late
seventies to the eighties it was out of control. It was pulling in twenty
billion dollars a year which was more than major league baseball basketball and
football were pulling in combined. This is ridiculous. Christ I think that’s
why Americans are pretty fat.

Yeah, traveling out to an arcade and then standing to play a game for 10-30 minutes made people real fat. Not sitting at home watching a baseball or basketball game for two hours with pizza and beer. (or WORLD OF WARCRAFT live-in-the-game type shit)

Quote:
Girl1: Like the levels unto which you were stimulated were
just completely changed and they were like more involved, you know like you
were actually becoming the character. And you had to like think of where to go
and what to collect and what to do. And like where to find things.

lol

Quote:
Girl2: Gamers grew up and they wanted more variety, and the
home console offered that. They wanted board games, adventure games, role
playing games, sports games. I mean how do you play a sports game in the
arcade, its like impossible.

This video should be all her.

The comments on the forum-blog thing there are hilarious. In the most recent post the director comes in and tries to defend the show. Here's a great line from his rebuttal:

"The show has been watched in this last week alone tens of thousands of times, and negative feedback has been largely centered around about a dozen people. I'm not trying to belittle anyone's perspective in the least, because it's quite a very infomed dozen people, but I can't do my job this way- especially when most of the dissenting perspective has already been covered..."

So he basically says, yeah about a dozen people out there didn't like it and they had good points, but 99% of the people did like it, so I'm just going to ignore the dozen people who know what they're talking about and leave me alone I'm a busy important director of internet videos, facts are irrelevant blahblahblah!

It seems as if he has not seen this thread, as there are over a dozen angry people on that website's thread about the video.

I wonder what video they have planned next now that they have covered the extremely relevant issue of American arcades in 2007.

The director guy said they already filmed a follow-up episode which says "arcades are actually making a comeback, and the arcades never died in Japan, etc". Basically covering all the major complaints. But he won't release it now, because he planned it for episode #12 and we've only just started with episode #1! But if people complain enough he might bump it up to episode #9. Funniest shit I've ever read. He's probably scrambling to find some more random shmoes off the street to film this follow-up which tries to cover his ass.

They're just going to read this thread as a bunch of angry nerds who like to make mock pics of people saying things they don't agree with.

Not that I mind at all, I want to see the reaction.

They should've cut to the video to the little kid playing some online Xbox game and ripping his mother a new asshole screaming, "I want my fucking chocolate milk" and the child mysteriously not getting the living piss kicked out of him.
