NMK's Thunder Dragon PCB is one of those arcade shmup titles that loops infinitely until you get tired of it. Sure, it'll display the ending credits once but that's it. Is a huge single layer PCB from the era of the early 1990s based arcade shmups. You can input up to eight characters on the high score intial entry screen which is a plus.

I don't know about Thunder Dragon, but P-47 is an item I'll never sell from my own collection. The music is great, the graphics are super smooth and the gameplay is really cool as well. Lots of hidden bonuses too, just as in Aces. I don't remember if I ever got the first loop clear on it, but I know I've been close back in the day. Do yourself a favor and get it, it's often quite cheap as well.

December purchases. Maybe went a bit over the top this time.

Asterix - great Konami game
Athena - I can't believe I have to turn my monitor upside-down for this
Ben Bero Beh - waited a long time to get this. Another monster Taito boardset
Bomb Jack - to replace the bootleg I have
Dragon Spirit - waited a long time to get this too
Forgotten Worlds - need to get/modify a spinner
Gyruss - I love the early 80's Konami games
Insector X - like Mushihime-sama... well, maybe not like Mushihime-sama
Mushihime-sama - amazing the difference between the PS2 version and the PCB
Popeye - want to get the Donkey Kongs and Mario Bros too. Seller made a harness for me with amp and colour inverters, and forgot to wire up the Up and Down controls...
Quiz Rouka ni Tattenasai - for the motherboard, now running NOS Crack Down (disk has never been used)
Rastan Saga - you've got to have it really
Sky Kid - love all the 80's Namco stuff
Teki Paki - check its brainwashing power
Time Pilot - finally got myself an original working Time Pilot
Time Pilot '84 - replaces the broken one I gave away earlier this year
Tutankham - very retro

With such an extensive library of letters at your liberty one can not help but wonder, what do you write?

Love the sampled music in these old Seta games like this and Meta Fox, it's got great cheese factor. *shakes fist at Joe's brother's killers*

Scored one of those Asia-region gray colored CPS2 Gigawing "A+B" board set. I like the modded fan with a softer breeze and less noise compared to the stock cooling fan found on such a setup (whines like crazy when fired up). Plus, the language is set to all-English text from the get-go...perfect for English native speakers indeed.

I do recall seeing the new fangled Gigawing conversion kit at a Japanese game center back in early 2000 but was more interested in trying out Cave's classic DDP shmup title instead. So I was never able to give CPS2 GW a proper go until very recently. The CPS2 version of GW's BGM sounds more lively and more robust compared to the later DC port of the same name...whether it be output in either mono or stereo (with an optional CPS2 sound amp, of course).

Desert Assault by Data East :)

Strangely the music is credited to different people than the music in Night Slashers, but when you listen to them - that seems very unlikely.

My holiday haul!

Battle Garegga, ignore the ugly red wires, I clipped my jumpers before my new ROMs got here and had to put them back on for the moment.

Dimahoo, absolutely evil.

Espgaluda, absolutely wonderful.

Heh, thanks. I've been humming that silly boss tune from the game for about a week now, gotta love the goofy engrish lyrics.
