For caincan,

You gotta try the all-English patch of the sole PC-FX shmup title of Chōshin Heiki Zeroigar -- it's awesome that even the anime cut scenes have added English text! Too bad that NEC decided not to sell the PC-FX console in the USA through it's American subsidairy, Turbo Technologies Incorporated (TTI), as American software developers and publishers would've released some cool FMV-based game titles like the classic Laserdisc based Dragon's Lair 1 & 2 + Space Ace, etc. (from developer/publisher Digital Leisure) on it for sure. TTI back in January of 1994 announced that they weren't going to be selling any more new gaming hardware/software (including the newfangled 32-bit powered PC-FX console stateside) thus having the American speciality video game retailers (i.e. -- Babbage's, Funcoland, Software Etc., Electronic's Boutique, etc.) sell their remaining brand new Turbo-Grafx-16 & Turbo Duo hardware & software on clearance -- that was the best time to get them on the cheap or "mere pennies on the dollar" if you will. Zeroigar even has a built-in demo mode that's hidden away as well. How cool is that?

An obligatory PC-FX mouse and a PC-FX Back-Up Unit are absolutely necessary with a PC-FX console also -- be sure to pick them both up. You'll be glad you did so.

Here's the shmup thread about the all-English Zeroigar patch released back in 2015: https://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.p ... igar+patch

^ That's why I do it.

But beware, those ones you see there are the jewel case versions of the game. The cardboard cases version are very common, but the jewel case are harder to find, and fun to gather piles of them.
Also the 3rd game in the series (only one on bottom right, no spine card :() is certainly on par with the rarest games on the system. Delisoba Deluxe is easy to find compared to this one.

Jewel case version of the third one, right? I recall the cardboard version being not too hard... but, I've also been out of the game for a while.

What about the box? That was tricky to find back in the day.

In fact, I'm having a flashback -- didn't you have me look for the jewel case version at some point when I was there? Wish I could remember something other than useless trivia for all the other threads here.

Ahah, yes I remember I asked you to seek those jewel cases for me when you were in Japan :D. I ask anyone who's over there to do that, sometimes it works.

Jewel case version of third is white whale to me, keeps me interested in collecting when I reached about all my other objectives. About the Blue Destiny box, it actually contains the jewel case version but w/o back artwork nor spine card, not interesting to me. I'd say uncommon if you want good condition and no sunfade on the box, but definitely doable.

Crazy that I remember that. Out of curiosity, what did the jewel case version of the third game run you?

If by "run you" you mean "cost you", I got it at 35€ on the Nintendo Age forum about 2 years ago.
Seller did not know it was rare. I told him it was, and we agreed on that price considering that since none of us ever saw it for sale, we had no idea which price to put on this.
I'd say that the only way to know the actual value of that game, would be to put it up for auction at Yahoo Japan, and see how it goes.

Lately on Yahoo Japan, there has been :
* a copy of Shutsudou Miniskirt Police standard version (rare version of a game with girls dressed as sexy cop !). Went in the $1000 range.
* a copy of Denpa Shounenteki Game 2 in very bad condition : went in the $7000 range. Crazy, not sure if this was a real bid though.
Who knows how Gundam 3 jewel would hold compared to that ?

Yeah it's wild there. I don't have as much interest these days or I'd scrape everything and save the data. :D I did put a bunch of old flyers up... they all went for substantially more than I thought but I believe only b/c a couple of people duked it out. Got a nice amount for my Dreamcast stash, surprisingly. The Saturn ones fetched about the same (with much fewer flyers) but it was a higher ratio of quality.

Picked the latest Lego Star Wars Microfighter #75344 -- Boba Fett's Slave 1. It's a mere 85 piece build and allows the builder to pose the Boba Fett mini-figure sitting down (if the ship is horizontal) or in a standing pose (if the ship is vertical). Basically, the Slave 1 microfighter has been distilled down to it's purest & minimalist form (can't be reduced any further imho).

Sure would've been nice if this particular set was released during TESB film debut back in May of 1980 as a promotional tie-in. Of course, Lego parts were more simpler back then compared the more detailed & specialized parts made nowadays -- that's a given. Even the wings can adjusted either horizontally or vertically -- how cool is that?

Picked up the 4K UHD disc set of Evangelion 3.0+1.1 Thrice Upon A Time -- noticed a lot of cool details with each scene + all new anime scene with the "extras" blu ray disc. Unfortunately, it's all in Japanese with Japanese subtitles as well. I'll have wait for the upcoming USA variant Eva 3.0+1.1 disc set from GKids themselves whenever they get around to releasing it in 2023 (or even perhaps in 2024). The blu ray disc set of Eva 3.33 took a long time to be released properly stateside. It was GKids themselves whom handled the extremely limited distribution of the all English dubbed theatrical version of Eva 3.0+1.1 anime film for the USA back in December 3rd & 4th, 2022.

Did you get the Fumiko with the LE, or separately?

And yeah, those Ikea cases are perfect for stuff like that, I use one for my Gunpla stuff.
(Haven't figured out the whole LED thing yet though...)

I got the Fumiko figure with the Shikigami II PS2 LE.
About the LED, this is what I use, I have to say I am totally satisfied with the result.
