First attempt:
283699 --- 275-lines


But what's probably not so good is that I did worse in the next 5 or 6 attempts, both in terms of score and lines. I would probably post at least a 300 lines score later on. However, not going to optimize score since I am generally pretty bad at stacking on the high-gravity sections (those in-between very slow and instant fall).

that's a nice first attempt! if you'd like to be on the leaderboard, can you post a screenshot of your name entry screen where it shows your name, grade, and high score list?

Getting a 300 line run took way more attempts than I thought it would. This didn't even feel like a good run until I noticed I was at like 275.

Is the scoring system explained somewhere? Looking at the scoreboard, I assume there's something I'm missing (T-spins? Combos?). Or my run was even sloppier than I thought, haha.

Very nice debut score! You have been added to the leaderboard.

Scoring is more or less as you see in that screenshot.

Line clear points are 8/25/42/64

Stacking and Efficiency are determined per piece and the meters are an average.

Efficiency is, in simple terms:
((the smallest number of frames possible to put this piece where it locked) / (the number of frames you spent)) * 100
so for every piece that value gets added to a counter and the meter on the screen there is that counter divided by the number of pieces dealt so far.

Stacking is:
100 / (the number of contiguous holes in the stack + 1)
again, for every piece this value gets added to a counter and the meter is that counter divided by the total number of pieces dealt.

For each line clear the meters are added together and multiplied by the line clear points.

The clear bonus for making it to 300 is your meters added together and squared.
