Breakthrough Gaming's Avoid Them (PS4 - PS5 - XB1 - X|S)

Well, damn it. Looks like the Breakthrough Gaming reviewing still continues.
This time is Breakthrough Gaming's Avoid Them.

Trash from Above.

Breakthrough Gaming's Avoid Them's gameplay is focused on one thing, and one single thing alone: Dodge the boulders that fall from the sky. Each stage requires you to reach a certain amount of points each time, like 25,000 or something. While the number sounds too much, the amount of rocks on screen will make the goal reaching not that long. Also, the rocks will fall at an average speed, so there's very few room for error in this game, and sometimes move between them in short spaces could be difficult since trying to dodge two getting through the narrow space between them will result in death for the most cases.
Like in Football, the game offers a few lives before finally losing which is well received and balances overall difficulty, but when you get hit by a rock, it doesn't "reset" the level, instead the falling rocks that were "halted" will resume their course as if nothing happened.

You've got all the trophies, time to uninstall this thing for good.

If there's only one redeeming quality of this game is the generous amount of extremely easy to get trophies, once you've get 30,000 points you'll conquer this game. Keep in mind, this only applies to the PlayStation 4 port. If you've picked the XBOX One version, its only a worthless crap shoot since all of the Breakthrough Gaming Arcade series doesn't support achievements.

Like the previous entries in the series, the complete audiovisual department is not bad, it's laughably, shockingly bad as we have the 2 chiptune soundtrack that tries to be fun, but it is way too boring and the graphics...Oh Lord! This game offers a zero-effort attempt to make a scenery that it's hard to differ if the character (which is an obvious recycle of the Football sprite) is walking in a grass field or a starfield and the sky is a planet seen from above. This is what happens when you don't use a color palette in a game. The boulders look like circles that can be anything from bubbles to iron balls. No one seemed to care to make the rocks resemble a rock, asteroid, whatever the hell that is.

A wise word of advice.

So the game's lesson here is to avoid toxicity, huh? The "Arguing so much, AVOID THEM" predicament can also be applied to fandoms nowadays like the Star Wars and NASCAR fans, since their fanbases are getting more and more toxic.

Breakthrough Gaming's Avoid Them is another addition to the list of sorriest excuses for a videogame ever. Even Pitfall on the Atari 2600 was more fun than this, and it looked way better than this.

The game's name already says what to do if you see it on the store: AVOID IT.
Three more trash games to go.
