You guys are good, I made a selection but need more of them. My project requires about 6000 characters of awesome quotes from videogames.

I'd like some arcade/early home consoles stuffs, like quotes from Final Fight and more beat'em ups, KOF and more VS fighting, Metal Slug and more run'n'gun, everything shmups (Garegga is still missing for instance), and anything memorable from famous games that made you the gamer you are.

Metal Slug X/3's announcer gets pretty decent recognition, even amongst normies. Rocket Lawnchair, Heavy Machinegun (known and loved by many Spanish speakers as "Eddy me Chinga" ), OH BIG, UR GREAT etc.

re Garegga, it's not a famous line at all, nor is it even from the game - it's printed on the Anthology doujin CD - but it used to be Twiddle's sig, and I knew these games were my jam when I saw it:

At least around here, you're a lot better off with BATWIDER for well-loved lines. Marverous! Excerrent! Along similar lines, Dangun Feveron.

The quote is as you remembered it in the arcade original, but was altered to the sillier version for the North American release of the Super Famicom port.
