Rare Taito game found

I don't think anything has changed in the years since this topic last came up. As long as that game's in copyright there could be legal problems from a release, including being sued for damages. Even without that, it might make other people not want to cooperate with dumping other rare games. If there weren't any considerations like this, of course it would be best to preserve the game by distributing it widely.

I'm not confident that a game like this would "never" get a commercial release. Never is a long time, and community emulation projects have helped spur on some commercial releases. In any case it's up to the copyright holder what to do with their property.
