What [not shmup] game are you playing now?

Anything from run & guns to modern RPGs, what else do you play?

Guilty Gear X.
[and it's slower than Ikaruga in NullDC...]

PS: For some reason, most people here seem to play fighters when they're not shmupping...

BlazBlue, Pop'n 12, Left 4 Dead.

Going for some Pop'n 14 tonight.
I haven't actively browsed/used this forum in many years and it's no longer an accurate representation of me.

I have retired from genre-specific content creation after 13 years, but I'll always love this little genre in my own personal way.

I was playing Rock Band 2 (PS3) but I'm tired of that. I'm mostly playing Wario Land Shake It now and some Wario: Master of Disguise on the side.

Sonic Unleashed for the PS2.

And you know what? I'm rather enjoying the game. I've got 2 more medals and about 24 secret items left to find.

There's a PC version of XX#Reload (and Isuka, but that's kinda bleh). You'd probably be better off running that.

Been playing Fallout 3 and GTA4 for the 360. Both are pretty damn addicting, I'm a sucker for free-roaming games.

Been also playing La-Mulana for PC, for when I need that "Nintendo Hard" gaming fix.

my Top pick for currently most played are:

Jump! Ultimate Stars (most played spend like hours playing this)
Final Fantasy XII (if I'm not playing Jump! I play this game)
Bleach DS Dark Souls (if its not FF or JUS it's practicing in this one lol)
Smash Bros Melee (and finally this game because it's just soo good)

Others that don't get much play time but I'm trying are:
Tetris DS
Cave Shmups

At my folks place over the new year - had a bit of time to kill, so I went and finished Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts on the SNES. Blimey, that was rough. The final boss was pretty easy once you figured out when to jump.

Back on the PS3 - got a few new games cheap (games are waaaay cheaper in the UK compared to the US at the moment).

Soulcalibur IV - could everyone playing this online please stop using Kilik? It's getting boring. Thanks.

DiRT - I love rally games and this might be the best I've played. The in-car camera looks amazing and gives it a really visceral feeling as you slam your car into a tree...

Uncharted - looks nice and plays pretty smoothly, but I played it for about an hour and it already said I'd completed nearly 20% of the game. Oh well, it was only 10 quid.
You cannot stop me with Paramecium alone!

I have been playing this. I like it quite a bit so far.

I have also been playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Mega Man 9, Bleach Blade of Fate, Trauma Center New Blood, and various others lately.

Recently, Azumanga Daioh Puzzle Bobble , was never really good at the BaM and PB series, was always a Tetris Attack kinda guy, so trying to step my game up and keep it in the cab for a while.

Mother series, specifically 1 and doing a new game+ on 3.

Finishing up Dragon Quest 6 as well.

DBH87, what do you think of No More Heroes? If you could give it a score, can you give a figure? I'm about to go after the number one assassin, but have to earn enough money for the entrance fee. It's really entertaining, even though the gameplay and stage designs are merely okay, I think.

I decided to finish off Custom Robo Arena for the DS, I left it just before the final battle in the Robo-Cup. Now i'm on the grudge matches and I can't put the game down.
