Tokimeki Memorial with mobo (so that I finally can play my Salamander 2 :D )

and earlier this week Raiden II

At first I thought something was severly wrong with it. No sound and graphical glitches leaving sprites all over the place.
It was the 5V line. Clocked 5.61V  Adjusting it the game behaved normally.

Not cheap. Also kind of slow to ship, but they're the only supplier I know of. What I'm doing is as I take games out of storage to play or whatever, I take them out of the old standard pink bag and put them back in one of those (if they'll fit).
Is quantity "1" actually 10 pieces when ordering from that site?

Congrats Ratikal!

I got this for a bargain, needs a reflow on a chip, but it works.

I love reading your blog, but I wish you would post screenshots, or some videos.. I have to go through and search for each one, and sometimes they don't even exist for some of the titles that are more rare.

Just a suggestion.

Is it a great game, then? Or is it the rarity that makes it special?

Rarity and Korean-ness. The game isn't too bad really, it's just way too hard.

raiden Fighters.

Some damage to one of the PCB's corners and some scratches on the under side but it seems to work without any problems.

My tatsujin-ou PCB failed to work last I tried it earlier this year. I turned it on to get a white screen. I am quite unhappy about this as this Shmup is one of my all time favourites. I shall have to find some one to hopefully repair it for me or worst-case have to replace it :(

Sweet kit. Has the sudden flood of international versions had any change on the price for the Japanese version at all? I'm guessing no, at least for prices in Japan right? Since there are game differences and the hardcore players only want to play the real Nipping version. Did you get this from Try or the like?

Unknown PCB is Shanghai 3.

I wish I can concur but the inkject label and hand scrawled eprom says otherwise. Thanks for the heads up on that board, now I have 3 Shanghai 3s.

How many versions of the ROM sets where there? I have a dogyuun that is Korean but from what I can tell it is some content that differs in the EPROM.

I am really envious of you for getting raiden Fighters for free :D I just bought a copy myself :)
