Free is ok, but to be honest, I rather get a bit of cash towards some AMI stools from Sophia...the NZ customs also wanted $200 just on duty and taxes for 8 stools. Other free boards I got from the guy included elevator action return, carrier air wing, salamander 2, rtype, legend of tonma and splatterhouse. Anyway, still have 40+ boards to come.

Yup~ Problem is there is no demand for them in NZ, so its like selling sand to Egyptians. And sending them overseas is often an expensive exercise. I should really advertise "shopping" vacations for members so they can buy back their plane tickets worth in PCBs lol...

It looks you have yourself a regular Arcade's worth of PCBs there, Rugdoctor :D

At 40 PCBs I can tell you the Zoll Amt/Customs Office would have a field day in Germany - they would literally roll out the red carpet for that. I ALWAYS get stung by them no matter. Anything that 'looks electronic' equates to 'must be worth lots of money' and I have a hard explaining to them that people send me PCBs for work and hobby stuff :D

Sounds like you will be having lots of Shmup PCB fun though :)

A good idea but might be costly flying in from Europe for many of us :) Still, some beauties for sure.

It's looking/sounding fine at the moment so no huge urgency, but I plan to recap it within the next month myself. I've done 4 or 5 of them so far.

It's a horrible job, one I won't do for people for money. It'd need to be a PCB on my wanted list or something as a bribe.

No, I hadn't seen that at all - very useful! I don't repaint mine, just in case they need to be replaced again...

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Looks like that still has the original Hitachi FD suicide chip (under the pink label), might want to replace the battery and/or desuicide it...

Super stoked to own these! The seller didn't know if/when the CPS2 Suicide Battery had been replaced so I was really happy to find out that the ST board was working perfectly! I have a new suicide battery on its way so hopefully the current one will last until I get it!

Interesting !

About Terra Cresta:
YM3526 with Nichibutsu disguise :)
(It looks like they used TC 148509 label for both YM3526 and YM2203)

Is there a video of the comparison on the Terra Cresta sound? Just picked up 2 pcb's of that. Kinda curious the difference now.

I don't know if there's a video but the different versions of Terra Cresta are available in Mame.
