Hey, you're the one that's gonna be doing the updating work, so sure. Thought you were gonzo, and that basically I was the only one playing these games so thought I might as well take over this, by now, ten year old thread. I'm assuming you'll keep parsec47 updated as well, then.

I have up to now, yes. The last post for Noiz2sa was a year before yours, certainly not ten years before.

I get that, but I think symbolically somehow it made sense for me to create a new thread, because 10 is a MAGICAL number, or something? :P I apologize, I somehow selectively didn't see your comment sticky thing when deciding to create a new thread.

Despatche runs a ton of the scoreboards (literally a hundred or so?) and when he updates he just does them all at once. Some people don't visit the forum for months at a time; if you wanna see an update earlier, then yeah, give 'im a nudge. ;) If the person hasn't logged in or responded to PMs for several months, then a takeover's generally justified.

A lotta folks also crosspost to http://www.restartsyndrome.com/ which is automated but doesn't have any discussion forums (it's run by CStarFlare, still adding games to it regularly).

You should take over another Kenta Cho game though! The thread for Tumiki Fighters is currently dead and abandoned with no new scores since 2006 and there's like 3 or 4 scores on there that weren't even added to it since the maker abandoned it shortly afterwards. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=249

I've actually been playing these as well as rRootage recently. I made it to 113 on Endless Normal in Noiz2sa, but score's only 5th place, was gonna take another crack at it tonight before posting scores. Thanks for the link to the SDL2/64-bit release, that's neat, I didn't know about it!

Haha that's so funny, because I was about to say that I have no interest in Tumiki Fighters (rrootage, noiz2sa, and parsec47 is where I'm at Kenta Cho-wise), and just realized that one of said last three posts scores that didn't make it onto the board were one of my own, from 2006: BA2 - 1,780,640 - ALL. XD But yeah since I don't play it anymore it doesn't feel right to hold the scoreboard. But perhaps just to get my own score up there. XD Don't think I've ever been first on a scoreboard in a game where there's just one mode of playing (unless it's a reaally obscure title).

Would be cool to see a video of yours from noiz2a, by the way. I'm always interested in learning from better players and resources for this are sorely lacking when it comes to aba games. I started doing some recordings of runs but will wait for my new computer which arrives next week so I won't get stuttering when recording plays.

Thank you. I might have been playing this game a bit too much like parsec47. I mean I didn't have any illusions of getting all the point clouds or killing all the enemies, but still, I've been flying around all crazy like, trying to point blank enemies and being at the front of the battle to get that edge, but seeing you just really hanging around in the back back as a choice rather than something to avoid or hold on to when forced too, instead opting more often for holding that line in the middle, makes me reconsider my priorities. Also focusing more on sniping the purple enemies might be worthwhile down the line not to get overrun by bullets - at least when it's possible to do so, especially more toward the beginning of the game, if my reading is correct in that it becomes harder to reach those enemies due to their being more blue ones later on.
