This is perfectly playable on mame nowadays (played on MAME 216 myself), so thought I'd add a score topic for it. The Warioware of Shmups!
There are three courses, Easy, Normal, and Hard.
You select minigames as you progress through the tower. If you choose different games the entire time, you get a hefty score bonus.
However, I don't know if that outweighs some higher-scoring minigames (probably - diff games bonus on Normal is like 400,000, which is a little less than half my total score from the run).
