Vertical scrolling shooter by Tanoshimasu released in 2019/12. Arcade exclusive revision of the mobile game Aka & Blue on iOS. It was heavily reworked for the exA-Arcadia arcade system.
Type-R stands for "Type Revolution"

Judging by comments from Tanoshimasu and exA it's unlikely this game will be released on other platforms. Maybe we'll see another revision.

Any game settings are OK as there are difficulty related options.

Ship type is split because of significant scoring & playstyle difference. Generally speaking playing Aka makes for a harder (but different) mode.

Tanoshimasu has a policy against people taking videos of this game. But link them if you like. They might take action to take videos down.
If the purpose is to slow down sharing of basic 1CC strategy, there are other ways of sharing like the traditional picture+text guides on this forum.

First time clearing the game. Was focusing on survival during the last two stages, I can see how 40b+ is possible.

My starting score here after about 5 hours with the game. Super ridiculously fun and one of the more addictive shmups out there. Still working on scoring strats, especially for the stage 3 boss. Such a fantastic game and with the 1.2.0 rev, I cannot fell any lag. It feels just the same as Ketsui or DDP on my CRT cab.

Finally made it to stage 4 on one life. Feels like a major accomplishment in this game! Super fun, super brutal.

The breakthrough happened when I realized I can move through patterns better when just holding c for some of them or holding C and tapping A to fire tons of missiles. The bullet patterns are super fun to learn and I’m still struggling to learn each of the bosses solidly. I also have very few scoring strats right now, instead, I’m focusing on learning the game and survival.
