Killed by the mad Nightmare after the descent. Really happy about this score, but the second part of stage 5 is still HARRRD...

New score after not playing for a month and then having a horrible day at it yesterday.

iatneH - 40,264,214 - 1-3 - Panzer Jaeger
Ha ha.

Damn you LUNardei! I've hit 92M, and I'm consistently pushing up my score in individual stages, just can't put it all together for the 100M+ run. I came out of stage 2 with 49M a few hours ago and fell apart in stage 3...

49 out of stage 2 is really great, I've got a 42 as maximum. You're on the right way, for sure. But as said other times I'm lazy and I absolutely want to improve day by day to finish the damn game first of all. Then I'll try my best for the second loop. What's your goal?

Thanks for pointing that out zakk!

To be honest, I don't actually remember ever breaking 40 million....

I never much thought about a goal. At least clearing the first loop with enough points to qualify for the special loop is probably a good start.

Well, final boss reached!
Two deaths on stage3, shame on me. I don't know why I kept on playing, but was the right choice :)

Zakk - 101,206,852 - 1-4 - Panzer Jager

No miss to stage 4. Almost lost it at the stage 3 midboss, because my timing was off and I was way out of position dodging the last pattern.
I also missed most of the bonus ships after due to this. Stage 4 sucked.

Ugh, great score considering it is stage 4 only. I was able to get 93 at the 4th boss in the last HS run, you're on the damn RIGHT way... But hey, there is the entire stage 5 now for you to face

Small improvement, but enough to take the second place. This time i nomissed until stage 5. It's really a shame that I can lose 7 lifes in a stage without clearing the first loop! Lack of practice... Anyway, next time I'll do it ;)

OMG did you get raped at stage 4! I felt so bad. You were so Ace up to that point, I started wondering if this was the superplay DVD. :D Excellent milk on first boss, and hold out on 2nd mid-boss for the bonus enemies. You definately know how to play this thing and I'm sure will be in 2nd place soon enough.

Makes me want to switch to Panzer Jager, but I promised myself I'd first learn/play through it with Tiger Schwert.

COWBOY-RJJ - 237,102,022 - 2-3 - Panzer Jager

50% of the world record now.

http://cowboy.ikaruga.co.uk/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=30

Died at the very end of the 4th boss, he had 1 pixel of health left. It was such a stupid death, and then I went on to NO MISS/NO BOMB the rest of the game ~_~ . After that I died horribly in the loop (I should have cleared it with that many lives)

On a side note, I already mentioned to zakk, but I got the extend before stage 2 finally.

I split this discussion off to the hardware forum as I'm interested in a capture solution too.
