ARCADE [original CPS-2 release]
Post scores in this format: score - exp - name - ship type (1 or 2) - stage # - auto [region]
For auto, I want you to just type auto. Only needed if you're using piercing cannon autofire specifically. I don't need to know if you're using normal shot autofire. Note that this is added to ShmupMAME 4.2 as button 2 by default. I want to include this option because it ought to make the CPS-2 game more accessible to people.
List of all Mars Matrix scores from both DC Arcade and CPS-2 sorted by experience count
This seems like it should add some interest to competition especially in the CPS-2 version. So I hope, anyway. I know it's not a perfect comparison, but this gets rid of most of the differences between the DC and AC versions. The only difference left is the OP piercing cannon autofire in the DC version. I'll only add the highest entry from a single player though (there are a few people with both AC and DC scores. I'll just add every score to the list, myself, so no need for anyone else to do anything.
Rob has given up maintaining the Mars Matrix scoreboard, and as such, I am taking it over. I will keep everything the same for now, but do let me know if anyone would be interested in a DC score attack mode table, as well. Old thread can be found here, and is actually a decent resource for Mars Matrix strategy if you read through all of the comments
EDIT 2019.5.18: Prettied up the tables a bit. Maybe I should just create bbcode tables...
2021.6.1: Finally doing bbcode tables. Tried to do my best to track down any videos/pictures that go with the scores. Added a few scores that had been overlooked in the later days of the previous thread.
