A little-known gem, this. Kill enemies to charge up your Xed gauge and trigger it to "reflect" enemy bullets to kill enemies fast.

Score in this one seems to be bound to survival, reflect as much as possible and don't get hit, with some little bonus if you manage to speedkill some enemies. Haven't touched Stage Select yet so if I practice properly it should be going better:

How are y'all getting this to run? It won't run on my desktop even after setting it to win 95 compatibility. I just see a blank screen and can hit arrow keys for sounds.

XP (SP3) compatibility mode, "Disable visual themes" and running it as an Admin its how I got it to work. Can't save replays tho, it crash the game.

I know I'm not participating in the tournament but all I did to make sure the game runs is set it to windows 98 compatibility. Not sure if that helps since I use a laptop.

@emuser: going by the link on vector.co.jp this is actually a win95 game. And you are right, this is possibly botched on Win8.1, runs fine on Win7. A virtual machine with xp or win7 should run it.

@sebti: you forgot stage number in score.

Also, I am encouraging all "not playing but here's my score", they will grouped into a "Guest Participant" Table. :D
obviously will not count for the tournament

So it hit me - ResumeDPosition, would you perhaps be interested in joining team Great Justice now that Captain has pretty much fucked off and at least Squire wanted to try to keep the team going rather than be drafted into a new team so it needs a new third player?

Well... he can't. The registration period is closed, teams should be locked in. We're in the specific situation of given Captain's actions and his other thread pretty much declaring he doesn't give a shit anymore, team Great Justice is without a captain and has been reduced to two players. Don't mind if I do. Here is my "not playing but here's my score" thing.

Now actually in the tournament score

Prinny - Great Justice - 1,870,987 - Stage 4 - Red - Screenshot

Died to the stage 4 midboss (if I had to describe it). I'll also agree with how difficult the stage 3 boss. It looks like its worth moving up in the screen just so there are more bullets that can be reflected.

This is the best I managed while trying to figure out what is the best way to herd bullets.

Edit: Changes made to reflect my participation as a member of Great Justice now. That and having difficulties beating my score to be worth making a new post. Being too risky with my scoring tactics.

Uh, you can ignore those top two scores. :) They just appeared the last two times I started the game. I think they may have wiped out the previous top score, so I guess people should make sure and take a pic of their legit scores before shutting down, in case they bug out like that when you load the game up again...

Okay, here's what I'm going to say, since Captain is definitely out of it and Squire primarily wanted to keep Great Justice alive: Does any of you guest participants want to fill the single empty spot in Great Justice? Only one, and only this once. Shoot me a PM if you're interested, but remember that it means you're committing to the team for the rest of the tournament.

Actually participating in the tournament score update. If you haven't seen my edit yet (or the tournament's main discussion thread), I'm officially participating now. I made that edit not too long ago and then ended up beating my score just now...

Prinny - Great Justice - 2,098,253 - Stage 4 - Red - Screenshot

Developing some rhythm for the first 3 stages but I still lose a lot against the third boss.

Okay, can confirm that creating a folder named replay in the game folder suddenly makes replay saving work.

And the replays show that the ships DO have in-game designations - Blue is A-Type and Red is B-Type. So I guess we should be using those names now.
