Hey thanks for the upload! I did notice a few differences between MVS and DC ports. I don't think the gunpods are in the DC version. Also, on DC your bomb fragments are usually reset after every stage which really sucks when you are one fragment short of a full bomb.

As for the run, have you tried playing a little more aggressively yet occasionally easing off the fire button a bit in stage 1 in order to collect a medal before you spawn the next? If you do that you can get max value before the midboss and quadruple your stage 1 score.
Doesn't make a huge difference in the long run, but I thought I'd mention it.

Thanks for the tip. I noticed the medals really affect the score much in this game. I am going to update my cartridge soon to 1.1. hopefully they did not remove the extra pods setting in the never version :P

I think you and 3 guys on neo-geo are the only ones still playing this. :?
Congrats on getting the second extend! I only had 24 million on my 1CC, then I quickly shelved the thing LOL

It's a rather easy one. You get plenty of bombs and I can't think of any difficult bit in the whole game.

I thought it was really hard too, based on the DC version. Maybe I should have bomb-spammed more? I also find Cho Ren Sha really difficult, though

Good work mate! What did you think of the 1.3 upgrade? I just did it over the weekend but I went back to the old controls. I found the new slower diagonal movement too slow and kept dying. It seemed to fix a few graphical glitches too which was nice.

It was the first update I had done for the cart so I was happy to get rid of the graphical glitches! I liked the fact that stage 2 had more enemies towards the end of the stage and the fact that you get a bonus for each life remaining at the end of the game was a nice touch.. As for the controls I did not like the new slower controls at all so I am sticking with the old ones :)
