May as well open this up too. Still more interesting than its namesake.

No usage of laser, ever. Disable button 1 outright if you have to. Regular bombs are fine, but no laser bombs.

Defaults, of course. I think you can still access the loop; if that turns out to be false, ouch. I'm thinking about some Arrange boards, but I don't know. I'm not gonna split the player sides this time, so please note them.

Looping should be doable with at least 2 of the 4 requirements; you probably can't get 50 million points without being able to laser as you simply can't chain properly without lasering, and you definitely can't get do the bee collection. That leaves survival (don't die more than twice) which is the hard requirement, and the chain requirement (get at least 270/300/330 hits with Type-A/B/C respectively). The chain requirement should be relatively easy to trigger, there's a section about halfway into 1-5 that if you no-miss, no bomb you're almost guaranteed to hit that chain requirement without needing to laser. Any time I've looped the game it's the section that's hit the chain requirement for me and even when playing normally I found it easiest just to use shot in that section.

Edit: Scores. The Stage 5 boss is the bane of my existence in this challenge. Is there really a need to specify autofire? Who wouldn't turn on C button autofire? :P

Both my Type B runs fell apart in Stage 5, too many risky dodges. It's the best shot type for this challenge IMO as it has exceptional frontal damage that matches or exceeds Type A (it has the strongest gunpods of all three types) as well as good move speed and wide spread that can sweep the screen. The only thing it can't do is Type A's pinpoint focused damage on small targets - the Stage 3 Boss and Hibachi both would be problematic, although the same goes for C-S I suppose.

I'm getting good enough at survival in DDP that I actually beat my Type B score and came close to my Type A score without lasering. I need to try and make a dent in the loop playing normally, I bet I could do a lot better now that I'm reliably surviving through Stage 5 and 6. Pretty much all my deaths here were when I was out of bombs on the Stage 5 and 6 bosses, and I found some nice strategy improvements in the St5 boss's first few attacks. The hit chain came entirely from that one section in Stage 5 where the small blue tanks start showing up in the middle of the screen.

I think 2P is technically better for score in this but I find it easier to keep track of where I am with the green heli, more screen contrast.
