Dodonpachi Daioujou & Black Label No Laser Challenge

After messing around with this and Ketsui, I thought it would be a good idea to have some "no focus" threads. A bit more interesting than its namesake, I think (dear IN, why).

So... No laser, none, never. Disable button 1 outright if you have to. Bombs and Hypers are fine, of course.

Defaults, of course. I'm pretty sure you can still access the loop; if that turns out to be false, we'll use 1-Round for BL. Since Exy essentially becomes "Shotia with less bombs", they're grouped together (still marked, of course), so pick one and go; if there's something important I'm missing, they'll be split.

Need B type for less speed, died on the stage 3 midboss so early Maximum loss and no extend :( My sanity prevents me from trying to loop this though...

Some comments. NMNB first loop. Maintained Max til 2-1 boss where I moved too far and died on it's opener. Full bomb stock death on the 2-4 boss followed up by two bombs (I should've known better than to risk dodging that final attack, it takes forever to kill). Won't be able to pass Hibachi under these conditions. Aside from the poor damage the shot has anyway, shotgunning for laser-comparable damage is impossible and because Hibachi is so small I'll be missing shots and extending the fight to probably three or more opener cycles, which just means resources down the drain. On the plus side, the final will probably be easier to dodge because of the faster movement. But lasting so much longer... No thanks. Well, if it's even reasonable to get to the final pattern.

Pretty nice Naut !
I don't think it's reasonnable to try 2-ALL without laser, no. Going through the game up to Hibachi looks doable, even with no miss, but Hibachi without Laser is definitely way imbalanced.

Came back to this since I'm on holiday and I figured it wouldn't be too easy to get the no miss no bomb of first loop. It did take quite a bunch of tries. Mostly because it was difficult for me to get through the 1-3 boss last pattern, but I figured a different approach after a while giving much better results. Then I quickly got the no miss no bomb. In this case after a miss in 1-2 before I got any bomb collected eheh.
