...Or he's crazy good/lucky at recharging his hypers, getting 6+ hyper levels with every recharge.

I think you're probably right (his score should be higher if he hit the counter stop), but previous top scores have gone from 22 billion to 25 to 30 to 33 to 36 and now suddenly to 46, which is a pretty huge jump, especially considering he didn't get much in end bonuses. As stage 5 routes get optimized and players last just a few more seconds with massive chains, the scores will get pretty crazy.

How'd I miss that one...well, there's the proof right there. That is kind of a bummer, but at least it still takes big skills to trigger it.

Yeah, I'd bet a lot more skills than in Expert. That being said, SWY has probably triggered the bug during two consecutive hypers, rather than one, to break two trillion. In ZAP's 1.3 trillion replay he had the counterstop for his last chain's entire duration, IIRC, and its net point value is pretty much fixed if you shoot the same number of enemies.

It's sad to see the game get ruined like this. The L scores must spend so little time with the counterstop that minor improvements could more than double the scores. There goes the "big" award for beating the TTLB too.

E: I do find it quite funny though that the EX score has now gone well past DFK scores.

I had the pleasure of watching SPS play over the weekend and saw him get 549+ which seemed pretty tops, but he just keeps going. On this new run he notes that he only died once (in 2-4), meaning he no-missed all of 2-5 plus DOOM. He says that he's going to keep playing until he gets 600 million, no-miss.

My heart skipped when I saw a new score for DDP, but it doesn't beat WTN's A-L record. Oddly, it just says "A-Type", but this must be an A-S score. Still excellent work, of course.

More knockout scores in the new Arcadia that I didn't have the chance to jot down except for one: yet another new Battle Garegga high from the man herself, Kamui: 20.749.630.

The SDOJ scores keep coming in, but no Inbachi clears. The most notable one was someone broke the trillion mark with the Laser-type.

I had a look at the new Arcadia tonight and there are a number of new STG records, but nothing really surprising:

Kamui set her monthly update with Gain in Battle Garegga.

More SDOJ scores, but no Inbachi clears.

Arcadia goofed again and printed a score lower than the current record, this time with Ketsui (460m? That sucks!)

Another Homura record that's still not as good as abschüssig's.

The only score I jotted down was for me the most impressive: a Mushi Futari God mode Reco score of 7.180.576.345.
