The replay is now available on YT with some interesting information in the video description.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bS_FtpqJ9vc

I also recommend you to read Skykid's article on Shanghai arcade scene if you haven't already.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2015- ... -heartbeat

More runs from Chinese players will be uploaded in the future on Xno Zero channel.

very interesting informations, so is played on GOTVG? I remember this, is a strange system... years ago I saw some arcade hi-score videos from GOTVG, some of them was better of japanese top (Knight of the Round, Snow Bros) but I wasn't sure about the reliability... I remember a Snow Bros video with a terrible slowdown. Is not easy understand if these products on GOTVG are comparable with the japan top score played in game center. I doubt about this.

Probably many chinese players have score exceeds the Japan top, but is impossible known because there aren't ranking on line.

The crazy thing about playing on GOTVG is it adds input lag depending on how many people are watching the stream. Clearly not the best platform to perform such a high level run.

Wow, he finally did it! His previous PB was 4.49 billion, but I recall someone saying he was aiming for 4.5 billion.

Goddamn, from the middle of stage 3 onwards when he hits 100000+ it just goes completely bananas.

Needs to fix his audio though, really bad distortion.

That video, as well as others on the channel, are tool-assisted. IIRC Ako's record is actually better-optimized but doesn't have the sheer luck needed to get Mambo as the final boss on both loops (has a sub-1% chance of spawning on each loop).

I think that may be his first time playing the game. If he actually played the game he would know you can suicide on stage 1 and get bombs worth 10k, but he only gets shot powers worth 2k. That feel when your human run has a higher stage 1 score than the TAS.

Well here are my top scores for Mushihimesama. Made in the pc port of the game:

Maniac 835,514,949 Stage 3

Ultra 848,325,390 Stage 4

Setting should be autofire since I haven't found a way to turn it off.

Kinda wrong topic. You might want to post your scores in the game-specific topic first: http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.php?t=38179

unbelievable level of play, just amazing, such a shame he takes a miss just before hibachi or it would have been 3.5!!
