For those that don't check the Strategy forum, Plasmo has started a useful thread with links to all of the highest scoring replays available online. I've also added a link to his thread in the resources section here.

Posting this here so I don't lose it later: The WR for Battle Bakraid was done with Blade Owl [B]. Hopefully we can get a video one day.

Nice find, especially on the type B being used too, looks like it's confirmed to be an ALL as well, this corroborates with what another player said about Blade Owl on nicovideo here, the comment was "9号機あたりが強いけど8号機なんだ".
I'm sure there is a lucrative trick related to its armor-piercing charge attack somewhere in the game, beyond the ones I already found that only give a few hundred thousand points.

Small note that as godly as ISO is he did not NMNB Vampire or there would be a scoring difference of 300.000 or greater between the screenshot and the score screen. :)

I wonder what the tweet message itself says, is it something about how people have been searching for this or something? Machine translation gives you the usual incomprehensible haiku.

By a mere 500 points over his previous best, but still, a record is a record. :P

That previous best was done at a personal cab and not an arcade, though, while I think this one was?

Just realized that the new Explosive Breaker score from June 2017 wasn't updated. And the old one from 1997 (1,3mill) was also not listed. Anyways, here's the new one:

OSS-hamami - 1,455,050 - ALL - autofire ON
