Question: the cab you're playing, is it Online
The reason i ask this is because i just came back from Paris playing their DBACEX cab, but the bottom right it shows: Phase2 and Offline So i'm guessing it's not the Full Version

Anyways, here's a couple personal best from my recent trip (i know, not much of a score, should have played with the other high scoring ships )...

Online and Offline are just whether they're connected to Taito's Nesys service (think eAmusement). Only when the machine is online can you access Chronicle mode. I've been told that the western releases have Chronicle mode open even when Offline though, but I haven't checked really.

Well, from what i remember, when Casino had DBAC, i played Chronicle Mode most of the time
Maybe my bad for saying Full Version, i meant Updated Version ie: scores, chronicle modes...
What about Phase2 Is this the latest one

According to the DBAC article in Wikipedia jp(http://goo.gl/dTyVrZ) the Phase update is not about Chronicle mode, Phase 1 ver added three new ships (Second, Gaiden and Assault)
to original mode, Phase 2 ver added one new ship(Genesis) and two new modes.

I'm since two weeks a proud owner of a DBAC @ home! (see here)

First of all, here's my best score so far :



Route H - ADH - Second Silver Hawk - 96.313.809 PTS ... yeah, not a good one but it's a start for me!

BUT

...with 2 credits! Yeah, still have to figure out how to pass some crazy VIOLENT RULER attack patterns!

So here's my questions :

1. I presume all the scores done here are done with only 1 credit ?
2. I presume to complete a full zone (let's say ADH) with only 1 credit gives an extra bonus points at the end of the game? Otherwise what would be the score difference between a good player that 1CC the game and an other one that use 10 credits to do the same?

1. Correct, you can tell by the last digit of your score... 0=1 credit/player/no continue 1=2 credits/continued 1 can also mean=1 credit with 2 players no continue
2. Well for example, if you No-Missed ADH (1 life from start to finish), you will get a 10 million No-Miss bonus.
Note: the scoring system on this is, each ship has their own multiplier, the longer you stay alive, not getting hit and destroying enemies with your burst is the key. If you're getting hit constantly, your multiplier goes down=lower points.
For the ships has no burst they have a higher multiplier, so not getting hit, keeping the multiplier high at x60 and destroy everything
PS: I'm not very good at explaining but i hope you'll understand

Just now wondering why my score is finishing by the value 9, because I finished the game with 2 credits?
Anyway, I'll soon upload a new score, just have to be more aggressive against that Violent Ruler! Or maybe I should try with an other ship than the 2nd Hawk?

Actually the last digit means this: 9 is any continues, 8 is infinite lives mode, 1 is 2 players, 2 is 3 players, 3 is 4 players.

Violent Ruler is mean, I think ADI is actually an easier route than ADH just because of him

Me happy! Finally did it! Completed today for the first time an entire route (H), in one credit... oh...even better... one ship!

Used the 2nd Hawk, zone H (ADH), 1 ship and 99.503.800 PTS, see ->





I've tried other ships with burst (2nd hawk doesn't have it), but still have some difficulty to be efficient with it ( ) ... just need to practice it more I guess...

True... but once you've decided to take another route, some boss fight is a bitch without the burst
Note: you will have problems facing E and F boss... and not forgetting L boss
Plus the burst/counterburst gives you higher points
