Well here's my 2P score for the last few days. I'll probably try a few more times before I switch back to vanilla, but probably won't beat it. I can't believe you guys cleared it, there's so many more letters left in the alphabet, really great accomplishment.

When I was at Titantic Lance I just thought, half the alphabet is enough. But once you hit that point you'll start to notice that everything before it is totally possible to no miss, and the rest seems doable. Keep it up!

Yeah, after playing through a few more times I can definitely beat it, I got a tiny bit farther than that but with less score later.

Don't post that score, I was just screwing around. But check out some interesting overflow errors: 10,000,000 points got truncated, and check out that 10 bombs is listed as "A" (10 in hex).

Thanks for maintaining the board! That would certainly encourage me to clear more routes. Maybe after some more scores roll in, and only if it's not a big hassle?

I would actually prefer to do that, as splits are preemptive. If there are no splits, there's no encouragement to actually try things a different way.

Sounds good! Hoping to post a Z-route (Hysteric Empress) score soon - I'm currently scoring about 8m on it with a few deaths, so I'm trying to tidy the run up into a 1LC. I wanted to ask if anyone has seen the tier-6 Captain (the purple fish with the big gatling gun on its head) appear more than once in zone T before. I don't know if it's an emulation issue - I'm using ShmupMAME 2.2 at the moment - but that part of the level seems to go differently every time. Sometimes I get two or three of them, sometimes many more, and some of them seem to disappear after capturing their orbs, sometimes leaving one fin visible. The stage isn't supposed to spam these enemies at this point, is it? (In the original version, where it appears as zone H, it has no Captain).

Ed: definitely still happens in other versions of MAME. There's more weird stuff so I might repost this in the Darius Love thread.
