Previous thread: 1

A handful of scores are missing; I'd like for those people to just resubmit and make clear what went into the play. Thanks.

3 lives, please start on Normal difficulty, and turn rapid on.

Generation (the Japanese version) was released later and has a number of small changes, such as extra points for squeezing into certain gaps.

Weird, a gradius thread wthout tviks looping it like crazy.

God - 747,200 - 2-2 - Type A/Force Field - Galaxies - vba

Kinda weird how the intro to this game includes Salamander but excludes Salamander 2.

i have a good reason for putting the game version in one line but for consistency i'm gonna put it on a line 1, sorry for the inconvenience. tempted to add an autofire slot for lulz

salamander was always marketed as the sequel to gradius before gradius ii came out, after which konami (and thus everyone else) forced it to be a spinoff. i guess whoever made the intro was trying to outline this

I don't understand that first sentence but I did use autofire. I can't imagine why anyone would turn it off.

I only barely understand what that first sentence was trying to say myself.

Meant to have some clears, unfortunately I just don't. Cleaned up the boards.

Also split by type. Surprised to see such type variety!
