Decided to not be lazy and actually learn to score in this game.
This was the first run where I managed to keep a chain through stage 2 and got the second extend just before stage 3.

I know some people don't like Donpachi games because of chaining; I was one of them.
Now I'm beginning to understand what I was missing.
They are completely different games when you're going for score.

Time to learn stage 3.

Not much of a reason to use Bomb Style for survival when Strong style exists. Not much of a reason to use Bomb style for score when Power style exists.

1-sissy styled run where I don't use many Hypers so to avoid Hibachi. Almost screwed up Golden Disaster though.

I was only a few billion off from beating Bananamatic's leaderboard score. I know I can improve on this some. I'm not sure by how much though. My B Strong score that game overs on Hibachi is worse than this though, and I don't remember the exact amount and don't feel like checking. Not that I plan to 1cc through Hibachi on any style because I'm absolutely sucky at second loop stages, which is what stage 5 turns into with Hyper spam, 2nd loop bosses, Golden Disaster, and Hibachi. I think my goal for 1.51 Power Style will be to make it to Hibachi though.

Your small improvement moves you up two places, still. I like how 1.5 B-S is the... neatest board, for the lack of a better word. Scores are so close together they look as if there's a stiff competition going, while the actual stiff competition happens about an order of magnitude higher.

EDIT: A few days ago I had trouble scoring 20b. I did a few hours of stage pratice yesterday, and now 60b is not a problem at all
