Prales! You are incredible!!!! You act so swag in that level one, all those unnecessary dodges to keep yourself awake

That handling of the stage 5 intro was so terrifying. But your recoveries late in the game are on point. And killing the boss on your last life is beautiful - including the cameo of the Tatsujin ship to give you the encouragement to persevere. Wonderful. You're on top!

Very cool Truxton II clear, but why did you call it 達人王 ? Might be confusing for people and the scoreboard that separates the jap & european versions.

Prales, did you notice a rank decrease in the final stage as you proceeded to lose all your lives to the final boss (except the last time ha ha)? It was hard to tell if the game was letting up - I thought enemies were firing a little less by the end but I would have to review.

I don't know for sure how rank works in this game - I can only tell you how it seems to work to me, that is: rank is exclusively tied to current power level, so dying resets the rank to the minimum possible. I know for sure rank decreases when dying with power, and that collecting more power ups drives the rank up. I don't know other specifics, unfortunately.

Japan version hard. Placeholder for whenever I start seriously playing this version. Played with the region set to Japan with the Taito Corp. license because that's how the game is on the cabs over in Japan, and it makes it easier to tell from the high score table which version of the game was played.
