Been playing a lot since the HD version came out. Feels like the load times are longer, but the new sprites are kinda nice. It may be nickel-and-diming but I don't really mind spending $10 on another version of my favorite Cave release!
And apparently I am sucking less too. Improvement is improvement! I may never reach Ura 2nd loop though

Well, last night I made it into the Ura loop for the first time ever. No-miss no-bombed the first loop for the first time ever too. I made it to Hibachi and defeated him on one credit (barely o_O) with a score of about 1.26 billion (iPhone Mode) and unlocked the Hibachi ship finally. I have been working on this for a month or more now, and for some reason gamecenter wasn't updating my score (achievements were unlocked though) and when I restarted the DDPR app, lo and behold! My score was nowhere to be seen and the Hibachi ship is still locked. >=(
So here in a few hours I will hopefully post another Ura score. At least I better lol
Edit: Here it is, one-bomb on the first run and a no-miss no-bomb on Hibachi's final attack!

I was on an Ura run with Hibachi the other day before I got this score, and I got to Taisabachi/Golden Disaster with a score of 1.86 billion... Only to have the game crash >_<
The strange thing is that this was a terrible run, I bombed four times and even died once on the first loop and somehow I still made it into the Ura loop. The score I am posting now was from a much better game, I bombed once on the first loop and died only twice on the second loop. Somehow even though I collected all the bees and used only one bomb I didn't make it into Ura... ?????

Does this include Android? (as the port is identical with the exception of the online score list being GGee not GameCenter)
Oh, one more difference, which is annoying. Auto-hyper when full in Arcade mode. It's really, really stupid.

Is there an option menu where you can disable auto-hyper? If I recall, the iOS version had an enable/disable option for auto-hypering (wtf, why would you want to auto hyper, lol).

Yeah... I just found it yesterday. It was on by default, so I turned it off. It added the "Hyper Counter" button.
Only reason I see to use auto-hyper would be situational against tougher bosses, but it wouldn't help as much as quick reflexes and knowing when to press buttons.
It is the exact same port, though. If you see anyone with a "SMARTPHONE" mode button not a "iPhone" mode button, it's an Android copy.
There seems to be a bug with uploading scores... but that doesn't matter too much for me until I actually figure out how to play the game.
Anyhow, finally memorized most of the bee locations so I can work on beating the Tsuujou loop
And, even though I know it's too low to be put on the list, I'm going to post my highest shameful score.

I don't see any reason why Android scores shouldn't be allowed on the board, as the ports are identical indeed
