...It's time for the The Deathsmiles II Arcade and Xbox 360 High Score Table!

LAST UPDATE: December 14th, 2014

This high score board covers scores for PCB, and the Xbox 360 version's X-Mode, Arrange and Arcade modes.

I'm open to suggestions while we get this running, but for now I'm going to do it like this. As each character seems to deliver such varied scores, for Arcade and X-Mode, there will be a separate table for each character for both modes, and an overall 'all characters board'.

Score formatting notes:
I'll tailor things like the way we format 360, X360, Xbox 360 or whatever, but when it comes to the 1CCs:

'ALL' = All-No EX
'ALX' = All via EX
'AXJ' = All via EX plus Jitterbug downed
'TLB' = Reached Jitterbug, but no 1CC

* For now, we're unsure whether the Xbox 360 patch, and it's affect on slowdown in Arcade mode (See third post here) makes the patched version closer to the PCB version or not. For that reason, for now please indicate with any Xbox 360 Arcade Mode submissions if you got the score playing with the Patched or Unpatched build.

OK - here it is then. Please feel free to suggest things at this stage (I'm sure I've got something wrong! I'm not with my 360 right now so double checking details is tricky!).

Perhaps it should be the individual character scores that get capped, rather than the 'all characters' boards?

Maybe the 360 arcade mode warrants a separate score from the PCB version?

And to start things off, here's my first score submission!

As reported over at: http://www.cave-stg.com/forum/index.php?topic=817.275
the patch slightly alters the slowdown/boss patterns. I don't know which version is more faithful to the PCB - so my score is unpatched (I have to lug the 360 round my girlfriends to get online - not worth it for a fence...). Also, there's no EX in arcade mode (unfortunately).

I knew you'd be one of the first through the door here!

That's a good point by the way. Thanks for the info. For now I'll mark Arcade Stores as Patched or Unpatched until we know more.

Also, I knew there was no EX in Arcade mode, but I'm not sure how that effects the details in the first post here; no doubt I'm being stupid!

I hope you're well by the way durango76 - we'll be getting some juicy Cave in Casino soon, so I expect you back!

I had no idea, that's strange. How do you erase a game patch? I wanna see what the slowdown looks like. Not that DSII arcade mode ever had much to begin with.

I'm not sure how you delete it - I think it's possible but you'd probably lose what ever scores you had.

There were some problems with certain parts of the game where your character or bullets would disappear because of the amount of stuff onscreen. In fixing this they've altered the slowdown in a few areas making the patched version more difficult to score in - areas mentioned are boss milking on stage B and the snakes at the end of stage C. Having not played the patched version I don't know how much of a difference there is. Maybe if I got it patched I'd want to start playing it again as there's no point in having a good run (without a camera) because you can't save scores...

As far as I understand, the patch, not only fucks the slowdown but also some bullet patterns (major issues) just to fix some bugs (not all of them) graphic details and add online score boards.
Speaking of patterns, that pic specially scares me:

So, i'm still in process to decide if it's worth to patch the game, i think i'll wait untill someone confirm that is possible to delete the patch once installed.
Anyway, that thread seems to accept unpatched scores, that's why I submit mine.

I should be able to crush this score, messed up plenty in some real stupid spots. Now that I know where the tasty cakes are I should be in better shape.

This game is pretty fun, although I think the slowdown is a little too extreme at some points, at least in IIX mode.

What the hell, I'll post my crappy scores. :) Still very new to this game so they're not that great, I'm still at the stage where I keep killing myself with suicide bullets, but should be able to improve on them soon enough.

Started playing this a bit more...I still suck at playing the "right" way (lock shot/suicide bullets) but I attempted some boss milking and got this:
