Messed up my scoring in pretty much every stage but still a nice improvement. I wonder how much higher this would be if I didn't die midway of stage 5 T_T
Scoring is reminding me more and more of ESP Ra.De, what with the multiplier remaining active for about 3 seconds after lockon. Good thing is the timer can be pumped up by killing popcorns, so you can keep a multiplier active for 20 seconds or more if you play your cards right.
OPTION ABUSE TO THE MAAAAAAAAAAX.
A fine run, too bad I died so many fucking times. I managed to no-miss TLB somehow. The potential for simple might be much more. I missed lots of good multipliers, died in bad spots, etc. The stage-end bonuses are quite large, so you want to no-miss as many stages as possible. I think I managed to no-miss stage 1 only.

LtC, what did you finish st4 with on your run? And I'm assuming most of your score came from st5? (I've had about 1500億 from st5 in practice, and can see how to get about 2500億 from st5, but haven't put it all together into a complete run yet.)

Yeah I have almost the same issues with st5. Always messing something up on a real run. I'd say my score when entering st5 varies from 1400億 to 1800億 depending on how I do with earlier stages.
I'm propably going to post my 3.3k億 run later too if it fits on YT where I managed to get a decent amount of score from the earlier stages and then screwed up on st5 bigtime.

Jesus Christ. I'm entering st5 with about 850億, so I now know I'm failing in earlier stages. I think I need to improve my Lock-On Only scoring, since I tend to just blast through with both Shot and Lock-On in tandem. That, and trying to find better sources of Double Break scoring (st4 is a bastard for that).

Yeah, it's possible (in theory) to get over 850億 after stage 2, the highest I've managed to get was 820億 or so but that already is very hard for me to get again. Stage 4 seems to be very hard to get score from, mainly the lack of places to break+double break on.
