I neglected to update getbonus's latest score. Now it's updated! Anyway, this board needs a few more scores to fill up 10 places. I know more of you out there have this game ;)

tviks - 40,000,000 - 73-1 - E

This was done on the updated Japanese version and is currently the #1 score. I really wanted to see this game maxed out, but it's just impossible since you can't even continue beyond loop 3 from the stage select. The game gets pretty intense with the regular enemies spraying over 70 suicide bullets for about 2 seconds after destroyed, so the game was actually still getting harder. I have no idea what the max difficulty for this game could be, maybe eventually all the enemies will spray bullets infinitely or something.

Seventy-three?

Congrats and stuff. What's the updated Japanese version? A patch? For other territories as well?

And thanks Aquas for updating, guess I should post a current score, as that one is badly outdated.

You should! And as far as I know the patch adds / changes some music tracks in the game? Might do some other little things... not sure.

getbonus _ 1,525,120 _ 3-2 _ B

I've been trying for nearly two months to take second, and finally did so this morning. Thanks SFKhoa for providing the score to beat, without it being there I'd never have bothered to come this far. No way in hell would I chase after tviks.

Yeah, Type B. I used A for a long time, and broke 1M with it, before switching over to B. I haven't been able to get comfortable using Type E, though it does seem to be preferred, judging from the rankings. Perhaps I should give it another shot.

Excellent job. I'm not really arsed to go and try retaking it since it's been a really long while since I've played Gradius Rebirth.
Also, I respect you in a way so I'm going to leave you alone indefinitely. :V

Updated. But PlasmaBlood, that isn't your "8 letter name" I'll let it slide because it doesn't matter. :)

USA east leaderboard...I think...I don't know how these leaderboards are separated.
It was a pretty sloppy run. My goal will be to get my type A to at least a million.

In honor of Robotron, I decided to play some Rebirth and see how well I can do on the WiiWare rank out of three attempts.

Ended up with a 629690: 2-4 Type B (Initials EEJ3)

I know there are scores archived in the "Old" section, but as far as current, I'm about at #20. Take it for what it's worth.
