I'll be back for more on Normal mode for sure.

Normal

spadgy - 374,400 - ALL

Hard

spadgy - 140,900 - ST4

A question. Did Solar Striker carts ever save? With mine, it doesn't remember my high score or the fact that I've unlocked hard mode, meaning I have to 1CC it every time I want to tackle the harder difficulty setting. I thought perhaps they once had a save function but an internal battery ran out?

updating now!
Ooh, you cheeky git. You've edged me out. :)

I don't think it ever had a battery back up for score saves - that's real day dreaming there Spadgy!

First time for everything! At least I took you in one score board!

I thought the save thing might be a pipe dream!

Not quite worthy of a 'BAM!', but I'm pretty happy with this:

spadgy - 486,700 - ALL

bam!

I know there more I can milk from this, but it might take a while!

Just going try Hard mode again before the update...

I should get bonus points for finishing it on an original gameboy. Good score mate, I might come back to this one day.

Solar Striker

Normal Difficulty
tinotormed – 615,900 – ALL
http://twitpic.com/5asx05

SUPRISE!

Managed to get more decent destructions on the meteor showers on Stage 5 and 6. Stupid deaths on stages 2, 3 and 6, but on the 6th, I managed to pound the boss safely. Will show the screens on the stage 4 to 6 bosses' safespots.

This will be put to YT.

For those who could not handle stage 4 to 6 boss, here is a short illustrated guide based off my twitpic:

Found a copy of this on the cheap at Gametraders a while ago so I decided to nab it. Reminded me how old my GBC's d-pad is :(

Nifty - 384,200 - ALL (Normal)

Recently got back into the Game Boy and managed to pick this game up, its not bad for an afternoon!

Carmen - 332400 - ALL - Normal

The Hard mode seems fun but... what's with the lack of a way to select it without beating the game? Meh...

I do wonder why the scores tend to vary so much between players... guess I need to review the enemy point totals in the manual...
