btw i made the 2-1 boss with 2multiples, a laser and NO forcefield. Go try by yourself, i think i am very skillful (actually i just was very lucky).
Also i think 50Hz mode is like cheating, its much slower so its easier to dodge and find your way. But apart from this 50Hz is not really amazing.

Couple stupid deaths early on, plus the stage 3 boss, although for the first time I made it past the stage 4 boss without dying once...

For stage 6 is it worth using double for the acid?

No. I had type 1 and I survived it without dying and without double. I don't know how it goes with type 4, but I guess shoud be fine with that. Or I don't actually know...
