55,294,100 - Plasmo - 241 - X-D

Reached X-D for the first time with one life left and even reached the true last boss. However this beast is impossible without LOTS of practice so i rather might aswell stop playing this nice game here. :)

Here's the tip, when he's about to shoot some super crazy patterns in rotating, have bomb, hold the bomb button and let the BUZZ FEST BEGIN and try to hit him with invicilibity, it hurts him a lot xD

Hmm...is the "original thread" for this game no longer being updated? One way or another a bit of condensing is needed...

The reason why I opened a Revision thread, was because Kaiser's thread had no entry in the highscore board index (only for the regular Psyvariar).
Pick one of the following solutions:
1. Delete this thread
2. Let there be two seperate threads for Psyvariar and Psyvariar Revision. Kaiser would have to take the Revision chart in his thread down though.
I'd be fine with either of them.

46,663,000 - Smraedis - 196 - X-C (Clear)

Went for the X-C clear, and it wasn't too hard for me.
Will need to get my level counts higher though, which is what I can't do just yet ;)

X-C clear is ridiculously easy compared to X-D, if you manage the latter one, I'll take my hat off to you. Very nice first score, too! :)

Shouldn't you indicate PS2 scores (with the "roll button") and Arcade scores (without the roll button)?

I don't think anyone uses the arcade hardware?

Well you don't need the arcade hardware to play without the roll button.

Anyway, I dug out my gnet card, and got this crappy score. I will try to improve on it next weekend.

Well, I honestly didn't know that...
If we get enough scores played without the roll button, I'll open a seperate table for it, it wouldn't make too much sense right now.

Thanks Plasmo, I've increased my score by just a little over 9000 points, which isn't worth putting here :D
I find the X-C stage to be slightly hard, and the boss to be quite easy... but I find the X-B boss to be really hard, and have to bomb away on it.
I should be able to make it to X-D on a good run now, I feel like I really have to push hard with leveling up though, and I mess up more than enough.

I'll prolly go back to Bakraid soon, I was planning to relearn Psyvariar 2, but that will have to wait a while.

I think its going to be hard for me to get to X-D without a roll button. Plasmo can you at least put GNET next to my score to indicate I'm playing on arcade defaults?

I changed the posting formula a bit, I hope it's ok now. Playing without a rollbutton sure must be a pain!

Having spent time with Psyvariar 2 on DC I prefer playing without a roll button. Stick waggling just works for me, so my score is 'without roll button'.

Been learning the fancy boss tricks, but this run was going so well, that I stopped doing them later into the game, and I ended up getting to X-D, which is what I wanted to finally do :)

I don't feel like carrying on playing Revision now, I'd like to get a X-D clear someday, but messing up the early stages just makes it so much harder.
I'm just happy that I finally got to beat Plasmo's score, you forgot to add my score on your western records page btw ;)

Really Revision seems be the hardest Psyvariar game and 3 lives for 8 stages...
One more time congrats Smraedis, you have Psyvariared a lot in later days.

I'll have to contribute soon. Once I crack 4m in Batrider Normal I'll get Revision back in the cab :)

Yeah I agree third_strike, you can get to the final stage in the two other games without taking any risks, but you just have to level up way too much to get to Gluon on this one. And on Revision, it takes a long time to go down..

Thanks for the nice comments :) I usually get level 29 on Stage 1, have got 30 only once though.. I like the leveling up on 2-D more than any other stage :D

Oh you should play this instead, and I feel like playing Batrider again though ;)
