Weird run, first time reaching 2-5 I get midway through 2-6, could possibly have gotten further if I hadn't panic bombed several times along the way.

Yeah so I still can't clear this at all. Should probably practice the last bosses for a few days straight, but I'm just too lazy right now. Even then I almost never get to the final boss with lives or bombs in stock. :(
Got back into Strikers II in a little tournament, really fun to play this again.
