Thanks!

The 2-ALL? perhaps sometime in the future. I really need to play something else now. And next time I'll try to have a plan and a set path for 2-4. I've been relying on twitch skills and a lot of bombs to get through it and that doesn't work most of the time.

Cleared this today. I wasn't going to post because I thought I'd only barely make the board, but I decided what the hell.

First time looping the Japanese version, go into 2-1 with an extra life in stock and what's my first death? To the very first bee medal's revenge bullets, FML. Lost my last life before the boss to a clusterfuck of bullets, so not prepared for how crazy it gets.

A little over a year later, I now own the PCB, and I finally snagged the 1LC! I am one stoked MF'er. I still need to practice stage 5. I had a no miss going up until that point. From there I was able to bomb my way to 2-1, where the suicide bullets quickly finished me off.

Ahh... I'm clearly mistaken. Somewhere along the line I got it into my head that 1LC = 1st loop clear.

I have to say the 2nd loop is just annoying, especially when no missing the 1st loop. So much for my attempt at "cracking" this game I only ended up cracking my ass....

Finally a good replay of Donpachi scoring 36,5mill with Type A. The chaining is far from optimal throughout both loops, but his surviving skills make up for it. He gets the bomb capacity bonus on 2-1 and 2-2 and looses his first life at the beginning of stage 2-3. Good stuff.

Stage 1-1 to 1-3
Stage 1-4
Stage 1-5
Stage 2-1
Stage 2-2
Stage 2-3
Stage 2-4
Stage 2-5 + TLB

Just to get things started. I nearly fucked up everything in this run. Check out my abysmal max chain. I wasn't able to get any of the huge ones going. Still managed to break 20mill+. Expect a lot more in the future.

Thanks for sharing, Plasmo.

If anyone is interested I compiled the first and second loops and uploaded them as Xvid to super-play.info for archival purposes.

I can't download from superplay, I only end up with ~ 80mb files no matter what I do. Can someone upload it to YouTube for great justice?

Same problem for me. Tried it a thousand times and it won't work.

Since I'd like to have the file on my harddrive with better quality as on YT, I'd prefer it being uploaded somewhere else though.

Got the capacity bonus for 1-5 (used two bombs at the last boss, because I was nervous). My score after the first loop was around 18,6mill, which is okish but not great, since I messed up a few smaller 100k-200k chains and one bigger 1mill chain. I aim for 20mill after the first loop.

This credit quickly went downhill during the second loop. After a no miss 2-1 (didn't get the capacity bonus of course), I lost 3 lives on 2-2... Then played rather well and barely reached 2-4.

At least it's an improvement and another first place. The real challenge begins right now.
