olol marp doesn't allow offsite linking huh

http://marp.retrogames.com/r/donpachi

That should do the trick.

also lol ddp no shooting run (except to kill bosses) would be hilarious

Nice replay shoe-sama. Why did you waste all your bombs before ST2 boss - was it to lower your rank? Not experimented with that much myself. My attempt with the International version on Mame:

RGC - 7,599,930 - 1-5 - max hit: 61 - Type C

Unlike the PSX port the arcade has no autofire. Hope to loop the emu version sometime soon, then try port (which is harder) :)

Service mode. It should be F2 by default. Hold it till you get to a menu (don't hold it TOO long, because you have to hold it to get out too) and select "CONFIGURATION". Applies to pretty much every Cave game on Cave hardware.

- US; the one you're playing; bombs restock to max capacity between levels
- Japan; everyone plays this; bombs DON'T restock
- Korea; not sure
- Hong Kong; supposed to be ridiculously hard compared to other 3; I think it's only playable in the newer MAME versions

Long overdue improvement on this game.. first loop went great, messed up lots of scoring chances on the second loop, and then got hit at the start of 2-4.

Well done Smraedis, you're fairly hammering out the PB's at the moment mate!

I challenged mulletgeezer to a 1CC by the end of the month recently (Dangun Feveron) and he duly complied, can I expect the same from you :?: :!:

Thanks :D
What, Hibachi included? It could be possible if I start learning 2-4 and 2-5, also if I didn't play for score so much ;)

Good luck with 2-4 and 2-5, they've been kicking my ass for far too long now. :x List updated.

Man, I need to find more Bee locations!

Edit: Curses, I got a 48 hit combo in stage 1, then I died in stage 2 early on

Made another improvement :D

Smraedis - 19,260,930 - 2-5 - Max Hit: 82 - Type C

Had a better run overall, first loop was good and high scoring, got hit early into 2-2, so I played safely through the rest, and got this far.
I wish the game didn't take so long to get this far, only get enough time for a few plays every day.

Meh. I definitely could score better, but I'm stupidly dying too much on the first loop. I'll try again some other time.

And I'm really amazed with Smraedis. Second loop is insane, yet he can make it to 2-5. Congrats dude!

Hey thanks ^^ I always thought that I'd never make it past 2-4, now I'm getting to at least 2-4 on every run, no matter when I get hit... that makes me just want to play for score even more.

Now it is 2-5 which is too much for me, I've not found a safe way to make it through the stage without getting hit, which is what I want to do :D

I hope you are recording some of your runs SJK. You will make it through 2-5, just keep playing.

I am so sorry that I did not record this!

Smraedis - 22,766,650 - 2-6? - Max Hit: 80 - Type C

What is happening?

Seriously, I've had a really busy week, and just had my first practice run, scored just 11m on the first loop, so tried a bit harder on the second loop.. the first time I properly got hit was on the 2-4 boss pattern. This is the best I have ever done for survival, and I was playing for score at the same time...

I started 2-5 with 3 ships left, got point blanked at the bottom of the screen, early into the stage.. I bombed a little too much in 2-5, and only had those last two bombs for the boss... I just tried to dodge like crazy, and it worked :D got about halfway through hibachi, I'm not like zlk, who can beat it without using bombs.

Since I got this far, I'll record all my runs from now on.. and play for the clear instead.

Hey, sadly I didn't make the all by the end of last month.. I haven't had any time at all to do runs though.
I've just finally had one recorded run here though, getting not far into 2-5 with 17.82m points, the inp plays back, but I want to get to hibachi again before I release any replay.
