this score is belong another person.
2008-01-17
I only took a photo,I don't know who is the person ,maybe I saw him sometime.
那个人..我看见过他玩的时候很熟练,,但没有得高分.我是后来听别人说他是玩得很高分过..就猜是他的记录..(听说而已.没有看到他打这个分数的过程)

Right - here's my humble first submission for DX:

PS1, Normal, Training
spadgy - 1,702,300 - 1-0(c) - 2P - Normal/Training - PS1

And, a first. My wife got a score on DX that makes the table too! Nice one Mrs. spadgy! She's not actually a forum member. Is it still OK for her score to go on the table? I know some other hi-score tables on the forum have outsider scores, but it's up to you. I can always get her to sign up if needs be.

Anyway - here it is:

PS1, Normal, Training
KJF - 1,010,080 - 1-0 - 2P -Normal/Training - PS1

And here's the picture with both our scores! What romance eh!

Another submission to go with the one above.

PS1 again, Normal, Novice course this time.

spadgy - 2,151,260 - 1-3 - 2P - Normal/Novice - PS1

Image

Also, I just got to the end boss of Training on just my second go at Double Play with DX (probably thanks to all that time Double Playing Raiden III). Combined score of 1.1 million. So gutted there isn't a Double Play option with DX along with the Dual Play.

Now I just need to decide whether to focus on Double Play DX Training, Solo Play DX Training, Solo Play DX Novice, or Solo Play Raiden I - I keep flitting between each...

Doing the score tricks in Training in a double play seems really hard, I would double play Novice.

All three score added, btw. :)

Thanks so much CIT! My wife will be very happy that she's on there.

Double playing novice is just for fun really. I spent a lot of time with Raiden III on Double Play, and even though I got to number two on the Double Play hi-score table on this forum for RIII, I never got anywhere near the end of the game. You're most certainly right that I should go with Novice, but with Training I feel I might actually make it to the end with both ships still going, regardless of scoring tricks....

Got this about a week ago and totally forgot to post it. PS1, Novice course, Normal difficulty.

spadgy - 3,276,310 - 1-5 - 2P - Normal/Novice - PS1

Can't wait to have some time to return to DX again.

EDIT: Oh - and after CITs advice, tried Novice Double Play and got some way into level 4, with a half decent combined score.

saucykobold - 5,448,230 - 2-2 - 2P - expert course, arcade difficulty - Playstation

I got pretty nervous near the end of 1-8. For what it's worth, the first loop is on my Youtube channel.

(Edit: A more recent run can be found on the next page.)

Watched your replay. Excellent stuff! :)

BTW, I think you can time out the stage 5 boss, avoiding his difficult spray pattern altogether?

If I remember correctly, you need to wait almost four minutes before the boss flies away. :?

Probably better to just get comfortable dodging the spray patterns.

ten million on training? In arcade difficulty?

that's awesome, if you repeat that on normal difficulty I might have to go back to practising again.

Thanks. I didn't get many full-value medals or Miclii, so there's plenty of room for improvement.

I'll be playing this for the next several weeks; when I'm really happy with a run, I'll upload it. :)

I know Mills' DX score was 18mil+. He should dig it out and post it.
